When: Afternoon
Where: Central Park/Pot Luck
There was some kind of happening going on in the park. Kenzie walked through it, amused by the food set up, and the games and booths. Just like a bunch of people hadn't been slaughtered by animals over the past few nights. A way to boost morale, she figured, finding the dome even more odd than she usually did. She was getting down to her last couple cigarettes, which was going to be bad for everyone within fifty feet of her over the course of the next week if she didn't find more, but it was hard to find a supplier inside of Delphi, especially when Kenzie was used to be the supplier.
She wandered through the crowd, munching on a piece of celery in one hand as she slowed occasionally near one of the vendor booths, skimming over the things they were selling. Nothing caught her eye at all until she passed a smaller booth with some homemade jewelry displayed on it. The girl behind the booth was chatting up some guy, and Kenzie could tell by the body language and blatantly phony, flirtatious laughter that the girl had barely registered Kenzie's prescence. It was probably too easy to take the dangly bracelet, but she did it anyway, taking another bite of her celery stick as she slipped the bracelet into her pocket and began to walk away, exchanging the bracelet for her pack of cigarettes as she pulled her hand out again. She had the money to buy the bracelet, but that was no fun. She didn't buy pretty things, she took them. WEATHER: The skies are clear and blue today, all the rain clearing up by early morning. Temperature ranges from 75-69°F.
EVENTS: A body is found in the woods near the lumber mill, mauled beyond recognition. The wolves have been blamed for the attack. The town council has decided in light of recent events, to have an impromptu gathering in central park. It’s set up to be a huge, pot luck town picnic, everyone is encouraged to attend and bring a dish. There will be games and prizes provided by local vendors, who are also welcome to have booths to sell their wares.
There is also a raffle being held for donated items from private citizens as well as local businesses, all proceeds will be donated to the hospital. An ambulance will be on scene to take blood from donors, to help replenish the hospital's supply in the wake of the wolf attacks.
