I'd like to remind visitors to the kennels that our dogs are intelligent and well-trained and cared for, but they are working dogs. We're happy to have volunteers help with training, if you'd like to come by. Please don't feed them off schedule without consulting me first.
In the interests of honing our skills in light of recent events, I'm proposing an escort training exercise. It would essentially be a twist on the regular Capture the Flag with a living target to protect or capture. We might take volunteers from the compound to act as either cooperative or hostile targets.
Considering our prisoners, it may have other uses, as well.
Roughly a year ago, one of the Pevensies brought up the suggestion of a tournament in the style of some of our old homes. Ben mentioned something similar more recently. It would be a long term project, most likely for some time in the summer months, if that seems feasible to you.
I was a little surprised the future hasn't managed a more efficient form of Black Friday shopping, although the population density has increased exponentially since our time. Even with the technological improvements, people still queue around the block for children's toys. Although, I suppose there are worse customs they could have adopted.
Apparently tomorrow is Go For a Ride Day which is an excuse for a trip if I ever heard one. It's been centuries since I flew over Niagara.
Dinner. Rook's getting us up there. Top of the Falls. It's not Siberia, but it should be cold enough for the rest of us.
Sounds like our old friend Zemo paid someone a visit recently. ...lingering frostbite and assorted fractures, apparently.
You guys were still pretty new when I got sent home. You settling in okay? Or I guess I should say settled. It sounds like it's been awhile.
One of the perks of New York compared to Atlantis - or other places I've been, for that matter - is making it through October without the appearance of a single ghost. Minus, the very welcome ones, of course.
How are you?
If I remember correctly, tomorrow makes a year.
>>Care to celebrate with something besides tacos?
>>The doctor seems in good health and safe enough for the time being, although she's had an interesting patient recently.
>>She's good at staying out of the fray, but she keeps her eyes open.
>>She takes note when non-locals stop by for treatment.
>>Nice work, and we didn't even miss the party.
>>I thought you might like to know the news on Zemo.
>>Dr. Nighy's clinic treated a stranger of his description for 'lingering frostbite and assorted fractures.'
>>He's since gone, but it certainly sounds like our man.
I miss a lot by skipping a party. Welcome (and welcome back) to all the new arrivals. I think I know most of you, but for those I don't, I'm Josh Summers. I'm a healer in Medical.
I suppose this is also a good time to remind everyone to wash their hands regularly and get a flu shot if you haven't already.
