Someone told me yesterday was national pasta day.

In honour of it, a day late, I'm going to make loads of different kinds of pastas and anyone is welcome to come by for dinner tonight.

There will be wine too.

It is strange to think that I have been here for almost a year now. The time has gone quickly.

I'm attending a small dinner tonight to honor Lexa's birthday. Would you like to come with me?

Some of you might already know that Lexa’s birthday is tomorrow. If it’s on this filter, it’s because we want you to share in a quiet celebration at [insert some cool NYC family style restaurant here]. We’ll be meeting for dinner and drinks starting around 5:30 for those who work at the headquarters in the city. Obviously, everyone else just get there when you can.

Dates Guests are welcome, but do only invite up to one person each, as we don’t want to make this an overly large affair.

I am not convinced I'm using this right or that anyone will actually see this, but hello. I met a few people briefly the other night, but it's honestly a bit of a blur. I gather others seeing this were brought here by the same witchcraft as I was and that I am not experiencing some sort of fever dream.

Sometimes I wonder if I will ever adjust to this place. I mean there is a lot of things that are the same though it was hard to believe at first, but a lot that isn't either. I guess it'll just take time. I'm sure we are all just going through the same thing, just doing it differently.
