On another note. How do I get home? My fellow officers and I were in the middle of a battle and they need me.

I'm in need volunteers to help me manage the influx of phone calls, emails and reporters. If anyone can just pick up and tell whoever that we're getting back to them, that would be fantastic.

Anyone who is relatively new and is getting their footing, if you need an ear or just wish to sit in silence with a cuppa and a biscuit, I'm always open to it.

I'm Alice, if we haven't met yet. I've been here for over a year now. Previously, from London, England, on Earth, in the year 1979.

Quite the influx of people in the last few days. It makes you think if something big may be coming.

Now that I've had a few days to get settled, I thought it would be a good idea to introduce myself.

I'm Clark Kent. Most recently from Metropolis, where I worked as an investigative journalist at the Daily Planet newspaper. I'm pretty sure there's no need for that here, but I'll do whatever I can to help out where it's needed.

Jumping into the portal, I thought I was finished. Complete somehow. Instead, I just...ended up in a whole other world...sort of. A free trip to the future. Ironic. I thought it was the end and turns out...just another beginning.

i had a thought, beyond sending chickens, of offering some 'welcome to the world' things for our newest guests. i know i set plenty of things on fire when i first got here and it took me a full month to learn about such glories like showers. i think it might help settle those from a world beyond our world, stuck out of time, or who are just plain lost, if we offered a bit of a 101.

also this would give us a possibility to see if they're a good fit anywhere, because what are we even doing in terms of helping them with supplies? i'm assuming our glorious overlords are helping, but i honestly don't know what they get up to these days what with all their mystique. point still is most of them are going to need help settling in. we can, at least, help with that.
