The last Poetry Night I attended, I witnessed the recitation of a extremely drawn out and rather narcissistic 'song.' Since I started reminiscing, I've been stuck on a line and can't seem to get it out of my head. Indulge me, if you've a spare moment. What do your disciplines say of memory-related magic? I'm hoping that if I can remember how it ends, I will stop thinking about it.

So its super gross out and its been raining on and off so there's really nothing we can do about wards or magic or surveying or any of the other stuff we've been doing so... I vote we all go get slurpees because apparently National Slurpee Day still exists and I'm pretty sure its still bring your own container style and ya know what - we've earned it.

Who wants to be extra ultra beyond upfront and actually tell me how things are up there? Its not like we get any real news, especially since most of us are out of the city now. Which I mean, totally get it - Thea and Rose don't want any of us like freaking out but... You know, most of us still want to know more of what's going on even if its bad.

Ellana's gonna take the lot of you out to the property we purchased. Yeah, yeah - you can complain later about roughing it for now. Consider it me trusting you all with security while the uh... Harry Potter contingent... work on wards. We had two people taken on Mars - we only got them back this morning, and with Barry and Bobbi still missing this is pretty damn important, so treat it as such.

Feel free to invite Jac, Ezra might even fucking prefer it.

If you were getting bored hanging around while most of everyone else is up on Mars - buckle the fuck up because I need you to ward and protect or whatever the fuck you can do to a pretty big piece of land. I know there's only three of you so I know it'll take awhile and that's why you're gonna go now. And I'm not really sorry about any roughing it because this is really fucking important.
