Oi. Someone's been noisily hanging out on the roof of my apartment building the last few days. For awhile too, I found a lunch bag there when I went looking.

Not cool. I need my beauty sleep, for the safety of my coworkers and my roommate's sanity.

The Setting

The gathering overflows from the inside of the bar to the outside, and while people are still clearly enjoying themselves inside most of the party is under the moonlight. It starts revving up about an hour from sunset with no written ending time. There are fans outside to take care of any smoke or people getting hot because of the large grill that takes up a good portion of the gate that goes along the east side of the porch. There are two tiki hut-esque setups for drinks, a mini stage that serves as host to a handful of bands one after another that is set off to the side so the whole place isn't too noisy. Right in the center tables have been shoved to the side to create what passes for a dance floor but is mostly serving as a place for people to stand around and talk. No cover charge, no visible weapons either. A few familiar faces from the bar are regularly doing rounds to try and stop shady people from being themselves.

The Food

The grill is churning out food fast, most of it more respectable than that one street cart vendor who gave you something still blinking the other day, don't worry. A variety of Okonomiyaki, something akin to hot dogs, and some good ol' fashioned meat pies that Marisol stayed up the night before putting together so you know they are good. Pay at one of the tiki huts, stand in line and tell whoever is currently manning the grill what you want. They made an effort to have diffrerent types of food favored on Earth, Luna, the Belt and yeah even New Assyria. Success varies however, what, their supplies are limited, alright?

The Drinks

Water is available and encouraged obviously, along with standard local beer, but their normal cocktail menu has been replaced and revamped thanks to 'Ro. There is even a list of new shots, each named after a major place. New York, Luna, New Assyria, China, London, a few of the more famous and long running freighters and mining colonies. It's being toted as drink your way around the universe with paint that glimmers. Many of the ingredients have been modified by 'Ro; the drinkers will lose inhibitions quickly, even those used to heavy consumption, heavy drinking will be encouraged by the fact that 'Ro has found a way to mitigate a great many of the negative physical side effects like vomiting, it's been updated to bring about relaxation even in the most tense folk and is as close to a truth serum as she could make it.

OOC: Feel free to use the drinks thing or not, there is always water or beer if it doesn't sound appealing. Have fun with it if you wanna though. Make your secretive, in pain all the time, characters suddenly cry and vent to an unprepared coworker, your pinning character blurt out confessions, or your habitually shy character start dancing on the table. Your angry character can start giggiling at puns. Go big. Go small. Have fun :)

Okay. So. Two big questions.

One. I hear a lot of talk about ships. Inquiring minds need to know, what's the fastest way to get to space? Does anyone need pilot lessons? And can I broker a deal involving these two things?

Two. Aside from that being three questions, is there a usual Fourth tradition around here or am I inviting people over for drinks, cards, touch football, and some kind of party?
