REFUGEES ONLY

In completely unrelated news, Elijah and I will be hosting a refugee social in the lounge on the first Saturday of every month. That means the first one is May 4th, starting at 8pm. We thought it might be good to get everyone together.

If you haven't seen the notices yet, this Sunday apparently marks a year since the first mass awakening and in true New York style, we're celebrating with a party! Come up to the lounge on the top floor of the complex for a near guaranteed good time Sunday evening! Yes, there will be plenty of booze , don't worry. It'll be a good chance to meet people for you newbies, especially.

You know, it occurs to me that we should do some kind of refugee party thing more often. Maybe like a monthly thing to give the newbies an organized chance to mingle with everyone. If we wanted to be extra friendly, we could start offering new arrivals one free drink, too. What do you think?

I've been working part-time at one of the animal shelters in the city and we're having an adoption event this weekend! There are lots of really cute cats and dogs of all ages if you're looking for a furry friend to take home with you!

Uh, I hope pets are actually allowed, because I have definitely fallen in love with, okay, all of them, but there's one little guy in particular I want to adopt.

I know rain is a "necessary evil" and all, but still, it definitely darkens a mood. Thankfully I can dodge the rain drops like a pro.

I guess it's good I have a solid immune system with that latest announcement. Or, you know, I'm a vampire and all that shit.

Okay, so this might just be me being completely irrational and neurotic, but I hope we have enough free beads for the Mardi Gras celebration this Tuesday.

I know that everyone is probably super caught up in missions and stuff, but...

We should totally do candy grams or something! Or grams in general. Maybe we can even link it it up with a charity so that the money paid goes to help someone or you know animals or whatever.
