Following up on Lu's post about Exploration Day, I was thinking of renting a ship out in Long Island Sound for a day trip. It's been good weather for it, and it would be a nice outing away from the compound.

There's the Harbour Festival on Saturday, or we could aim for during the week when it's less crowded.

I don't know if Legal has replaced Miss Udinov, yet and I'd rather as little. Could you schedule a meeting for me for Friday? Afternoon, preferably, but I can rearrange appointments, if necessary.

How would the two of you feel about poetry night? Or something around the compound, if you'd rather avoid the rain?

Good Friday always seemed such a backwards name to me when I was younger. I understand where it comes from - that the greatest good can come from and in despite of great evil. It isn't necessarily pleasant or safe, what we wish for or imagine, but it is always needed. All things considered, that seems an apt description of life, as well.

This week has been both unexpected and very good.

We might need to eat outside to fit everyone, but Easter is a time for family, and I would like to celebrate with all of you.
