Since there's been so much bad news lately, I thought everyone would like to know that the coffee substitute project is going well enough for taste-testing.
It's time we upgraded our communications range, as well. It's too easy to lose contact, especially with BNU's lockdown.
I'm not ignoring you. I'm just not sure that I really know what you want me to say.No. You know what, we're on the same planet, in the same compound. Meet me for a drink? So we can actually talk.
Following up on Lu's post about Exploration Day, I was thinking of renting a ship out in Long Island Sound for a day trip. It's been good weather for it, and it would be a nice outing away from the compound.
There's the Harbour Festival on Saturday, or we could aim for during the week when it's less crowded.
Have you sensed anything [...] unusual recently?
I think I've now managed to amend most of my recipes to adjust for the slightly different ingredients available in this world.
For those that don't know, I've taken over the Kitchen in the Lounge, and already have most of a full menu planned out. However, in these difficult times, I know it's always nice to have something familiar. So, if any of you have any favourite meals from home that you would like me to include, please do feel free to send me a menu. Digitally if possible, that way I can get the tablet to read it to me.
Obviously, my Earth Birthday is postponed until next month.
I'm so sorry. If you ever need to talk, or just want quiet company. Let me know.
>>Hey!
>>I know you just got here, but I've got to head off world for a bit.
>>You should be able to contact me most of the time.
>>But, I'll be out of comms range for a few days when we get too far out.
>>So, don't worry if you can't get hold of me.
>>I'm going to be gone for a few days.
>>But, we should get Tacos when I'm back
