I'm not always a fan of covers. I'll admit it. But I was searching around and I found this and I am not offended by it. This might go against the norm, but I think I prefer that version to the original.

What's this weekend look like for you all? I want to steal you all away and spend time with you.

The hours he had free from work and other obligations he spent on distractions. Whether it was going for long walks, roaming in museums or going to the gym, he was seeking things to do to keep his mind from wandering. He was even debating on rock-climbing over the weekend all stemming from his last chat with Polyxena.

A part of him ached still (wished so strongly for something different) and he was glad he had not hurled himself into a relationship with anyone. There was too much weighing on him, too much from the past and too little he could give to the future.

Time was needed. And it seemed his sister needed that as well.

The idea that his brothers were lurking around somewhere close by brought mixed emotions. For the most part, he'd continued on as he normally would with any situation that brought up memories that bothered him: he ignored it and pushed everything back and down, trying to compact it all until it suffocated and stopped existing. It was remarkably successful for most things. This was, annoyingly, not one of them.

He'd spent more time in his office than anywhere. His manager suspected nothing out of the ordinary because he didn't let him. His mask was always in place, always meticulously kept. The minute he thought it might slip, he closed his eyes and stops talking (it's the one thing that could give him away). Then the moment passes and he's back to himself, a perfected smile in place and an ease in his manner.

Later, he thinks. Later he will worry about any of this. It's a lie, but at least he can pretend to believe himself.

UGHHH. I'm so tired. Now in emoticon: ∑( ̄□ ̄)

Here's a secret: I've been spying on all of you. You're all so chummy. Doesn't it get tiring?
