You people are all pretty boring and whiny.

Everything about this place is cold and we are not yet arrived. Tell me a useful cure for cold toes.

Aside from that: this marriage is not an assimilation of cultures. It is a compromise or a contract or a duet. One party need not drown out the other. One needs only to see my twin sons to see how our respective strengths combine and compliment each other.

This talk of marriage has led me to wonder what a life as a married woman would be like. I wonder, do all girls dream of marriage as a child? And if so, to married women, has the fantasy lived up to the expectations now that it's happened?
