Of all things which could have happened, of all the actions and events, this never touched my mind.

I have a son who once hated me, my child is lost to me, my sister knows me not, my husband, heavens. And him.

I need to return home. Right.

Home?

I will make my way to Svarga once I am no longer needed.

[He'd woken up with memories flooding him fast. From his childhood with Agamemnon to Helen as his wife to multiple other lives, all the way to New York. And waking in such a fashion nearly sent Diana to the floor as the child can curled up beside him some time at night.

Upon seeing her, he felt his heart lighten, delighted to know he was a father to such an endearing thing (Hermione, he recalled, never failed to not have a cute phase but perhaps that was his paternal bias). But then he realized that Diana's mother was not Helen. He knew exactly who his wife was right then.

There was really only one thing to say:

Oh shit.

[Having had time to accept what was happening, it seemed that now was an ideal time to reach out to all those of her pantheon. To see if any among them could offer up ideas. Plans. Anything to help them get out of this or manage it.

She was never going to get a quiet existence. Ever.

This is not my thing. Someone take this from me. Fast. I pray someone has some idea of what we should do. Can we really carry on as if this is normal? Because I think not. But we haven't a way out, at least not one that I know of heard of. Once more, we are at the mercy of those we know next to nothing about.

I also hope that we are all here. That we are not badly scattered or even divided by worlds.

The turn of events is interesting, but hardly enough to shake him. Hades is not the type to care about the silly concerns of the people exploding all over the journals. There is curiosity, to be sure. But concern? Hardly.

He remembers names like Minos and Thanatos cropping up. But he will not condescend as to approach them, no. Why should he bother approaching his subjects? As of yet, they are unneeded. And even so, without their powers, they are utterly replaceable.

There is the one, however, who is not. Her age might present a problem, Hades considers, but she will simply have to suck it up. He isn't about to play the comforting husband - if she wants that, she can scurry along to her father in that blastedly humid jungle region.

Should he write to her? Ah, but what would be the point? Surely the cloistered girl is somewhere in Mictlan. The lackadaisical messenger should be preoccupied by the castle overrun with Arthurian homosexuals (they have shared each other and shared a queen - how Greek), and the Norse brother is far, far away in Glastheim.

No, Hades will find Persephone. And she will bow to him, whether or not she likes it. He is not a cruel man nor has he ever been known to dole out undue punishment, but when he does punish, oh, does he punish.

She will know better than to oppose him, he hopes. He'd regret having to mar that pretty face.

And returning to our previous programming. Anyone has a map back to New York or a plane? If so, share. I might have had my share of medieval conditions. The lack of hygiene is a killer. So is hearing the word princess before my name. Every single damned time.

I'm never asking 'what else' again. Ever.

Morgause. Wave your presence, please. And Arthur, we need a word. I have to pull your ear for a few hours.

Countrymen, I realize I am the odd one out amongst us. Still, we live in the same castle and so begs the question - how are we, and what are we to do about Camlann? Or are we going to drop the Mictlan thing entirely on account of its being false?

To those who don't know yet, this is Aeneas. Camlann.

I can't be the only one who's trying to see the bright side in all this, can I? I mean, being a traveling musician has been pretty cool, especially compared to being a college student. Much as I'm weirded out, it's nice to know alternate!me stayed true to her ideals. And had some luck with the fellas, holla!

Whatever happens next, at least I got to perform in some crazy-exotic locations and meet some interesting people. Some of whom I hope actually remember me.

[Lucifer is appalled (disgusted-sickened-slave to too, too many emotions).

He hates loss of control

he hates his human skin, more than ever,

and - above all else - he is entirely disgusted that he believed he was human.

He believed he had a twin sister
and an elder sister
and that he was man-man-man,
that he was flesh-and-blood and nothing more.

More than this, he had forgotten who he was. He had forgotten that he was the
Adversary.

His skin tingles. There needs to be death.]

[Zeus' handwriting is shaky now and this takes him a long time to write. His skin has taken a rather grey tone and his breathing is laboured. These are his final points of business]

To Svarga; faction members, subjects: I am dying. Let's say no more of it other than it is the truth. I do not expect to see sunset, now that the evenings have begun to stretch out.

To my children; all of you, whether you're from this life, the last, the first or any of the others: I am proud of you. Be careful what you drink. I love each of you and why should I not, when you are manifestations of myself?

To the Blackwells: Listen to Maud. She's probably right on most things. Emilia. I hope it was good for you.

To Katie: I have been blessed to have had you. I am sorry.

Goodnight, Zurvan.
