Hello my name is Hermione Granger and like it appears many of you, I have just recently arrived.
I have two questions. Has anyone been here long enough not to be classified as a new arrival and what can you tell me about this place?
Secondly, would anyone like to come exploring with me? I have looked in some rooms and it looks like it is perhaps best to group up as this place is giving very serious haunted house vibes and experience has taught me that it is best to go into unknown situations with other people.

ANNOUNCEMENT
We got a question about Claiming spots to sleep on the main floors, and that's absolutely an okay thing to do! SHEET TWO on the Rooming Spreadsheet will keep track of who is crashing in what room.
Housing in these rooms is a little less structured, so if you want to claim a spot on a rug, chair, sofa or table, reply to the question post over HERE on in a comment on this post.
KEEP IN MIND that some areas like the Attic and the Basement are not yet accessible, so characters wouldn't be able to claim those places just yet.
It is also expected that characters will be moving around, which is totally okay! Just try to keep the mods informed of where you are. We're trying to make sure everyone has opportunities for prompts and we wouldn't want to miss your characters over because of a room swap! A note on this post, over HERE or in the Discord is all fine :)

My name is Poe Dameron. I'm a Resistance pilot with the Rapier Squadron. From what I've been able to gather, this seems to be Earth, but I have no understanding of how I came to be here, and I desperately need to get back to my own world. All of my equipment was taken from me when I arrived, and I haven't been able to get a signal on this communication device strong enough to contact home.

Hello, this is Reed Richards. An explorer, scientist, and superhero - with a wealth of experience with cosmic, interdimensional, and multiversal exploration. From my reading of the various postings here, I believe that we have multiple individuals from parallel universes present. or that's what our captor wants us to think. In short, the Multiverse is the concept that there are an infinite number of universes, where anything that can happen does happen. And that these vast variety of universes exist in parallel to one another. On one world you are a cop, on another a criminal, on another you were never born, and so on ad infinitum.
You may encounter individuals who resemble friends, family, lovers, or enemies. You will need to set aside preconceptions about a person, and judge them on their actions and what your intuition tells you about them. If you do not feel safe, seek out a group. Trust your instincts. However, I implore you to refrain from violence unless in self defense, regardless of who you may think you are encountering.
I do not say this to increase your paranoia, but to simply suggest that you be careful. If anyone is in distress, contact me and I will come help you. Be safe everyone.
