@OOTP: In case you missed it — and let's be honest, the Ministry made sure you did — former Puddlemere and Scottish National Team Chaser Craig Wood was arrested for not sending his daughter back to Hogwarts last week.
@OOTP: Ill and in need of medical treatment, his daughter was sent abroad to recover, but not involving Dolores Umbridge in your parenting decisions is apparently illegal now.
@OOTP: Since when is the letter of the law more important than a child's well-being? Since when is it the Ministry's right to make those decisions for a parent?
@OOTP: If you still think the Ministry has your best interests at heart, you're wrong. It's an eye for an eye with them. Or a father for a daughter. Or the Muggleborn Registration Commission jailing a halfblood.

@OOTP: Gerardo Flores emigrated from El Salvador when he was very young. At 11 he was invited to Hogwarts and Castelobruxo, but he picked Hogwarts because he used to really love it here.

@OOTP: If there was any doubt they were prisoners surely this latest move from the Ministry has answered that question.
@OOTP: As for protecting the Wandless from "a rash of abductions"? They were only creepy and troubling because Death Eaters made a mess of things.
@OOTP: And as for being abducted at all? They're safe now. Which is more than can be said for the Wandless the Ministry claim to be protecting.
