Hello. I noticed your names come up on the contacts list and I just wanted to say hi, I guess.

I'm Neville Longbottom, you knew my parents, Frank and Alice. I grew up with Harry; we were in the same dorm at Hogwarts and we fought in the war together and worked together for a while afterwards. If you have any questions, I'm around. About him, or the war, or anything else. I've gotten used to talking with this internet thing, or I'm in the greenhouses out back a lot, you're always welcome for tea.

Now that we're all safely back in our normal nightmare hellscape, I need some assistance.

Gilmore and I were chatting about Midsummer and a lot of my traditions revolve around plants of a certain medical or psychoactive property. Gathering, drying, preparing, brewing... that sort of thing. But I don't really know what I'm doing here. My abuelita always handled these sorts of things. That said, I would still like to do something with this while I'm here. The thing is, I need several hands. And brains. Mostly the brains.

Can I borrow your brains?

There's nothing I can do if they're already gone, but I know a spell that will... protect them until the cemetery comes back, if anyone wants it.

I'm working on a project and need a single mandrake leaf. Do you have any mandrakes potted? There are other things I'll need, but that that's the only one that is time-sensitive, as I need it by the full moon.

I've noticed a lot of people around here are dealing with bad dreams or nightmares or just having trouble sleeping. With a bunch of my plants showing up a few weeks ago, Ginny and Theo and I have been able to brew a potion from our world called Dreamless Sleep. It basically just does what it says on the tin.

It works on muggle non-magic folk from out world, and witches and wizards so I think it would work for most people here, but if you've got another sort of magic you might want to be careful the first time.

I've bottled it up in one-night doses, the more you take the longer you'll sleep and you can take too much so please be careful. If you only need a few hours you can just take a few sips, if you want a full night, take the whole bottle. It'll taste a bit like camomile and honey and herbs and when you take it it'll feel like these heavy, irresistible waves of sleep are pressing over you. You won't dream and you won't wake up on your own until it wears off. You can be woken up by someone else but it'll be very difficult.

If anyone wants some, It's in the box on the table in the greenhouses (the purple liquid in little glass bottles). Be careful of the plant in the corner that looks like a cactus, it sprays sap and it's being very rude lately.

Since I imagine there’s more than a few afraid of the dark:

Go in the kitchen and find a tub of crisco.

Put a piece of string in the middle and you can use it for a candle. A rolled up piece of paper would also do as the wick in a pinch.

Should last for 45 days.

I've managed to make a cauldron that should work for Dreamless sleep if you two would like to see about brewing it this week. It handled Pepper-up, so in theory, it should be adequate for something a little more complex.

How confident are either of you making a Dreamless Sleep potion without a proper cauldron? I have all of the ingredients otherwise but potions was never my strong suit.

Has anyone gone outside today? It's absolutely bloody gorgeous out there. If I had my broom, this would be perfect flying weather.

So, anyone else wondering how we might be able to prepare for whatever fresh Heaven this place throws at us next?

Commander Erwin Smith was looking into forming an emergency response-type group to help people out in the event of another bug world (or the dino world I missed) scenario. And since I've been here longer than him and know more people, I offered to help get something organized.
