So I'm aware there are a number of people here that have died and/or don't want to go back to their current situations in their homeworlds. So I'm working on a means to anchor folk who don't want to leave here by some means other than using souls.

I'm stuck, is the long and short of it. Without a constant location or personal items that will remain with us continuously, another solution is required. Any ideas?

Is anyone interested in a magic group? I've been wondering for quite awhile what we can learn from one another, magically inclined or otherwise, and perhaps it's time to organize something formal, especially as other groups are seeming to form up.

Added later: I propose those of us interested in spirited discussion and practical demonstrations meet next week on Thursday afternoon, location TBD.

Hello, internet!

I am late in my introduction, as I did not realize there was a connection for everyone. I had been doing things the old fashioned way and surprising people in hallways to make friends and figure out what is going on here. I arrived here a few days ago with absolutely no fanfare or event of any kind, and now I seem to be trapped.

Oh, and I have been informed the place is quite haunted. Have I missed any pertinent details to solving this mystery so far?

Well, looks like my brother is gone. I guess I can't really complain too much. After all, I did get to spend time with my nephew that I wouldn't have otherwise.

Looks like I disappeared again yesterday. I just went out for a haircut, that's all.

Judging by all reports so far, the portals have only led to three places so far: Tortuga, Candyland, and Jurassic Park. While they are generally benign, if you're not familiar with those places continue to use caution; while the entire hotel was in Jurassic Park previously, the time shifted on us overnight and it went from a bustling park to a place overrun with rampaging dinos that had no problem trying to eat us. If any of you find a new place, please report it here or to me.

And since we've had newer arrivals in recent weeks, we do have a patrol that monitors the island and hotel. Shifts are six hours long and due to numbers I've so far limited it to teams of two. We do have a couple of holes and I like to keep a roster of alternate folks as well, so if you have combat experience (magical, melee, or otherwise), and you'd like to volunteer, drop your name here and general experience/skills as well. I try to match folks based on that when possible.

Lastly, if you want to learn how to fight you can contact me here. I can teach on an individual basis or classes, and have experience in various forms of combat and weapons training.

So.. there may or may not have been a little mishap in Stark's lab this morning while he and I were working on a project. Long story short, it looks like we've accidentally opened up a bunch of portals all over the hotel. I honestly have no idea where they lead to or how to close them, but we're looking into it. In the meantime, I ask that you guys help keep an eye on the portals. Let Stark or myself know if you see anything come out of them.
