Cirque Nocturne: Messages

I think I've perfected my make-up. Less Walking Dead, and more 'haunted soul come back from death'. Or something along those lines. I like it, at any rate. And it doesn't involve large amounts of fake blood, that nonsense is ghastly to get out of my hair.

And my costume is finished as well, so the new act will be premiering tonight. Stop by and see it, if you'd like.

Management has requested for a handful of employees to go to a local pumpkin patch and pick the Cirque out some.
We will be having a Pumpkin carving session following. Make sure the carvings are appropriate or I will force you to start over.

Last night was amusing to say the least. Having a Saturday off meant finding my way to a very delicious event that must have been inspired by us.

The Cirque needs to take some pointers though and add a Fistatorium behind Vice and Virtue. I would gladly head it.

I feel like doing something different, as a nod to the coming holiday. I found this song online, and I cannot make it leave my head. Change is sometimes good, yes? A limited engagement run, just until Halloween, in addition to my other songs.

Now this means I need to figure out what I'm going to wear...

I had really been hoping for Paris this time. Not that I don't love seeing the ruin of Detroit, which has been rough and tumble for a while even on its best days... But Paris would have made me much happier. The shopping, the theater, all the hotel rooms I love and miss.

Is a little glamour too much to ask, really? Kennet, I blame you.

Ever have moments where you feel like you aren't real for awhile then things are back to normal? I think I was having a dream like that.

A castle. This brings back some memories. They're excellent for skulking about.

I'm enjoying this stop despite the looks I get when I decide to join tours. No matter how cheerfully I greet them, the monks seem to be waiting for wholesale slaughter to follow in my wake.

Not that I blame them, but I'm honestly pretty tired of wholesale slaughter lately.

Do we have plans for tomorrow? If not, my vote is for dancing naked under the moon. It's been a while.

I know I am new here and only help mend the clothes and costumes, not design them... But don't you think that a pair of "shorts" should be longer than the girls vag? And no, I'm not "old fashioned", I just didn't think that anyone other than a worker of a brothel would be alright with wearing such lack of attire. So that begs to question... Why is there no brothel here? Imagine the money you could make with a whore house. I mean really... I can't be the only one with that thought.

I have taken some kind of test thing that told me I'm a Hufflepuff... I'm not sure what that means.

I'm...well I'm not happy we're not open tonight, because of how that came about. But I'm grateful for the time to process what the hell happened.

I killed someone. I've never done that before, and I don't-I can't make myself regret it, but I've never done that before. I made him do it to himself, but he would have killed one of the shifters, and I couldn't have that.

I've never made people do anything violent before. It's always for the show, for a laugh, to get myself out of trouble. But I did it because I thought it was the right thing to do. That's what I keep telling myself, anyway.

That doesn't mean I won't replay it in my dreams.

As soon as you have a moment, as I'm sure you're incredibly busy, I need to speak to you. It can wait but I'm queueing up as it were.

I would like everyone to check in with me, today.
I know last night was very rough for everyone and I hope that any and all injuries are being looked after.
Clean up and Rousties have a lot to do as well, so they need to be looked after first.
All creatures with healing abilities (for others) please report to the Bandaid Station.

Last night the Hunters while attacking all circus employees of supernatural origin also went after the Cauldron at the center. Trying to blind us as it were and stop our travels.

As we still have more nights here, I need to reitterate the dangers of being out around the city. They had been watching us and somehow knew where the weakened points in our defenses were. If a somewhat alive Hunter is found during clean up I would like to speak with him, and I expect all the employees willing to do so kill any and all Hunters they see during the rest of the stay- but, of course, try to do so with as little attention drawn to us as possible and do not go hunting any further than a five mile radius.

I haven't been able to get Take Me To Church out of my head since we arrived.

Clearly I need to go back to sleep.
