Cirque Nocturne: Messages

I'm seeing a lot of nightmares lately. I gotta say, it's making me nervous.

Oh, and for all the doll collectors out there: I've set them outside my trailer. Have at 'em.

I'm told that it's mandatory to make some kind of introduction here which is the only reason I'm doing it.

As announcement's go, I feel it is best to make one before our move rather than after. Upon tomorrow, the first night in our new location will also herald the first night of the Hunter's full moon. This moon is a special one and it is Management's wish that every employee be given the chance to agree to participate or not. Upon arrival in the new location, a Wild Hunt is to be called. We will be locked into a space of our own. The sirens, spirits and fae that call humans to their death will be released around the site and any patron that steps inside the Cirque those nights will die. This is an opportunity for our darker members to express themselves and employees that may have been on a lower diet to take in what they will. The rule of not killing or grievously harming employees still applies, but all of the rules about public displays does not. This is not public and no employees will be leaving the grounds. I ask that if you wish not to participate or if you still wish to be chained for the shift of the full moon, to leave a message here. Any children under contract with the Cirque do not have a choice and will be tended to by Baba Violetta in a specialized tent that cannot be accessed by anyone other than her and myself. if you do choose to be locked away, you will be bound to your trailer and anything you may need for those nights will be delivered by magical means.

While it is your choice to whether you participate or not, Security will still be needed to walk the grounds and make sure that no patron escapes by some miracle; if they have long dormant genes of magic that might allow them to step through the barriers.
You are to police the employees as well. They have free reign but they are not to disturb the center Cauldron in any manner or destroy our tents and props and equipment.

I know last night was very rough for everyone and I hope that any and all injuries are being looked after.
Clean up and Rousties have a lot to do as well, so they need to be looked after first.

Last night the Hunters while attacking all circus employees of supernatural origin also went after the Cauldron at the center. Trying to blind us as it were and stop our travels.

As we still have more nights here, I need to reitterate the dangers of being out around the city. They had been watching us and somehow knew where the weakened points in our defenses were. If a somewhat alive Hunter is found during clean up I would like to speak with him, and I expect all the employees willing to do so kill any and all Hunters they see during the rest of the stay- but, of course, try to do so with as little attention drawn to us as possible and do not go hunting any further than a five mile radius.

OK, I don't know what the fuck is going on, but this shit needs to stop. Weird things happening while I'm asleep/just waking...fine, OK, whatever. Fucking-apparitions, or whatever, ghosts, spirits or whatever the fuck kneeling on my chest...I don't know about you lot, but I'm not here for that shit.

Good morning. I'm Nik. I hear that today is the Cirque's moving day. I'm jumping the train before you pull out of station, signed a contract a few hours ago. It was too much to pass up, with all the commotion the bunch of you rustled up in our little town here.

So fess up. The hypnotized flash mob in the lobby of Hotel Jerome and the three murder-by-dismemberments. Who's mess what that?

Last night my presence was requested in no fewer than six instances where diners wished to "make the chef aware of their dietary needs." Do I look like a short-order cook or one of those so called celebrity chefs who replace all that is good and delicious in food with abominations like sunflower oil and vegan cheese? If it had been legitimate food allergies, yes, of course I would make allowance. But if you are going to tell me that you only eat gluten-free, raw, paleo-whatever nonsense, then yes, I will request that you remove yourself from the establishment before I lose my temper in front of the other diners.

This is a magnificant piece of magic. It is like a book that constantly changes.

Well, that was a fun few days off. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves? I'm so glad I don't get hangovers.

I'm going to need costuming assistance before the shows start tonight, if anyone's available? I'm having busk problems.

I am announcing this late, with the change of plans from the Management it has been decided that we will be opening tonight to the public for shortened hours.

I am proud of those that managed to follow my simple two day rule. As everyone will likely be going out today for whatever they plan on doing, make sure to call clean up if a body needs to be disposed of.

I do expect everyone to be on their best behavior the first two days of our stop, after that I expect intelligence on how you handle your business.
