Cirque Nocturne: Messages

Okay, so I'm seeing a bit of consternation and confusion when it comes to how to pay for the clothing one is supposed to wear to all these balls. I realize that we don't necessarily make money that enables us to expend thousands of dollars for just one outfit. But I also realize that I come from a more... privileged stand point than most of those here and that a combination of my "own" money, alongside a healthy portion I've divested from my father's accounts, could certainly help those here in achieving their ball gown dreams.

But this isn't a charity. I've grown somewhat accustomed to the trading/bartering economy. So come at me with your trades, whether it be for something mundane like art for my trailer or something a bit more arcane.

I have taken some kind of test thing that told me I'm a Hufflepuff... I'm not sure what that means.

I love my sword dancing gig, but there's something about working til your muscles are sore that I find really relaxing. Maybe it's because it makes it easier to sleep that night, I don't know.

Yes. I completely deserved that. I purposely sought your girlfriend out, amongst all the other patrons in the cirque, to make out with. Because I can totally leave my booth to do that... where, oh yeah! I get paid to make out with people all day. Granted, I would have anyway, for free with this one... but it's the principle of it!

I think it's official, there's nothing worse than dragging boxes around all morning. I'm really sorry about all the noise, too, for anyone who might have been trying to sleep while we were lugging stuff back and forth! I'm told that in the future, moves are much less painful and irritating? That would be nice.

I am not sure if the cupcake made me sick or the move, but my head hurts a lot since the arrival here.

I have a question for all you spell working folks for entirely selfish reasons - are there any spells or wards or whatnot that prevent wee ones from puking in, on and around my game? It seems that I'm not that lucky, or maybe the children of Colorado are generally not able to handle certain foods. Which wouldn't surprise me, given the amount of mothers I have seen with bags of celery sticks and carrots. At a carnival. Poor things.

And if you spot a little red cat around, don't eat her. Give her a shrimp or something.

I'm loving the smell of slightly over ripe bananas right now, but the smell of cooking meats is making my stomach want to turn. Lord help me.
