Cirque Nocturne: Messages

It’s too loud to sleep.

I can hear everything.

Each little sound is familiar and strange and I hate all of it. I don’t like change.

This is nothing like home. If this is a chance to start over I’m not sure if I want it.

I can’t sleep, the nightmares...

I know I have places to be but I want to sit here just a minute longer and try to understand.

The mixture of aromas are enticing - the scent of popcorn and hotdogs, cotton candy...I can’t explain it but there’s something else beneath those happier smells..something darker. I want to find out what it is. It’s there in the darkness. I can feel it.

Holy frozen awesome, I am so pleased. Time to run around with very little clothes on and throw snowballs at people!

As announcement's go, I feel it is best to make one before our move rather than after. Upon tomorrow, the first night in our new location will also herald the first night of the Hunter's full moon. This moon is a special one and it is Management's wish that every employee be given the chance to agree to participate or not. Upon arrival in the new location, a Wild Hunt is to be called. We will be locked into a space of our own. The sirens, spirits and fae that call humans to their death will be released around the site and any patron that steps inside the Cirque those nights will die. This is an opportunity for our darker members to express themselves and employees that may have been on a lower diet to take in what they will. The rule of not killing or grievously harming employees still applies, but all of the rules about public displays does not. This is not public and no employees will be leaving the grounds. I ask that if you wish not to participate or if you still wish to be chained for the shift of the full moon, to leave a message here. Any children under contract with the Cirque do not have a choice and will be tended to by Baba Violetta in a specialized tent that cannot be accessed by anyone other than her and myself. if you do choose to be locked away, you will be bound to your trailer and anything you may need for those nights will be delivered by magical means.

While it is your choice to whether you participate or not, Security will still be needed to walk the grounds and make sure that no patron escapes by some miracle; if they have long dormant genes of magic that might allow them to step through the barriers.
You are to police the employees as well. They have free reign but they are not to disturb the center Cauldron in any manner or destroy our tents and props and equipment.

Oh, London. For all that you think you're so cosmopolitan...scratch the surface, and it's still the same. Though there are a bunch of places to get a good curry at 3 a.m., so I suppose they have that going for them.

So Byron has apparently discovered something called a 'Fistatorium', and is apparently keen to show people what, exactly, that entails. He wants to know if you'd like to come, I said I'd ask. I guess Elia will be there too, if I read that right.

Oighear was making unimpressed faces at me all last night. I'm pretty sure he's smarter than me, sometimes.

Despite the fact that Elia is awesome and I can now go outside without dying, I'm still lobbying for us to go somewhere like Norway. I hear the fjords are nice.

That being said, though, I'm still going to exploring, because this place looks hella cool. And eat some crickets. Just to say I did it.

I have taken some kind of test thing that told me I'm a Hufflepuff... I'm not sure what that means.

Life hack: make brownies in a waffle iron to hold even more whipped cream. Or ice cream. Or leftover brownie batter. Who am I to judge. Top that shit with Reese's Pieces.

I have brownies, whiskey, good tunes, and paint. Time to turn my humble abode into a badass mural. Anyone that wants to help, bring your own intoxicants or party favors.

The cirque is so quiet. Never thought I'd complain about having the night off, but... it's just creepy. Lemme know if any of you need anything.

I would like everyone to check in with me, today.
I know last night was very rough for everyone and I hope that any and all injuries are being looked after.
Clean up and Rousties have a lot to do as well, so they need to be looked after first.
All creatures with healing abilities (for others) please report to the Bandaid Station.

Last night the Hunters while attacking all circus employees of supernatural origin also went after the Cauldron at the center. Trying to blind us as it were and stop our travels.

As we still have more nights here, I need to reitterate the dangers of being out around the city. They had been watching us and somehow knew where the weakened points in our defenses were. If a somewhat alive Hunter is found during clean up I would like to speak with him, and I expect all the employees willing to do so kill any and all Hunters they see during the rest of the stay- but, of course, try to do so with as little attention drawn to us as possible and do not go hunting any further than a five mile radius.

I would assume that the beautiful folk who live in the apartments would be have crazed in the presence of history, but alas there are some very lovely young men and women with as much time on their hands as various needs. I might have gotten detained in the apartments for the day, but they can afford sun blocking curtains and some stamina.

For anyone who is still hunting in the area, I would find it exceedingly helpful if you could bring your leftovers back onto the grounds? At the very least, maybe let me know where any remains can be found. My herbal stocks are starting to run a bit low, and this would make it easier for me to stock back up.

Oighear found where Zanna keeps the catnip. He's lying on the floor, blissed out of his mind and batting at the air. He is ridiculous and my favorite.

Still not sleeping very well. I'm not keen on more nighttime visitors.

This place is starting to weird me out. I'm not a fan.

Friends and fiends, I am once again delighted to be amongst you once more. I think that on such an occasion, this calls for a celebration! I believe I still have more than a few choice bottles of wine, whiskey, and maybe one of vodka left for those of you who prefer that.
