Perhaps I am becoming jaded to the murders that have been occurring with our stops, despite the break for a few months - up until now. I can only think of how glad I am my brain wasn't ripped to shreds by a spirit or how I was visionless and, in fact, out of the loop on this one. It's a rare treat.

That does not mean I am not sorry for the losses or haven't been any sort of upset but there's a sort of... relief that it's a normal grief and not one of deep involvement. Color me cold if you like. I won't mind.

So...do we have anyone who's specialty is reading objects? What's it called...psychometry? Something like that. Or anyone, really. Magic isn't my strong suit.

This place is starting to give me a headache... Not that I've any right to complain.

Moving Day already – time does fly, doesn't it? I suppose Detroit wasn't as dismal as I thought it would be. But it still wasn't Paris, which I continue to advocate for. We haven't visited in a good long time, and there's no better place to stock up on fabulous new lingerie. It would really be a favor to all of V&V's customers.

Management has requested for a handful of employees to go to a local pumpkin patch and pick the Cirque out some.
We will be having a Pumpkin carving session following. Make sure the carvings are appropriate or I will force you to start over.

I had really been hoping for Paris this time. Not that I don't love seeing the ruin of Detroit, which has been rough and tumble for a while even on its best days... But Paris would have made me much happier. The shopping, the theater, all the hotel rooms I love and miss.

Is a little glamour too much to ask, really? Kennet, I blame you.

Ever have moments where you feel like you aren't real for awhile then things are back to normal? I think I was having a dream like that.

I like castles as much as the next girl, and Ancho Ange Angkor Wat had all them gorgeous statues, but I can't help but notice that we always wind up someplace dark and dreary. I know, I know, it comes with the territory, but maybe next time we could venture somewhere with a little less history and a little more entertainment.

You know what else has a castle and statues? Disney World. Wink wink, circus.
