Is Halloween some kind of special event or something? I don't understand the purpose of dressing in a costume and picking up candy from strangers.

Things have been off this morning. With the tower's long term residents, I mean. The shadow that Marlow saw by the tree came back yesterday. The other spirits ... they're very busy. I don't know what that means, but I'd beg you all to please be cautious. Something has changed. I don't like it at all All the best to each of you.

The shadow Marlow mentioned three days ago reappeared by the tree yesterday while I was refreshing the silks. It just stared for a while. I tried to speak with it. It didn't respond. It felt dark and hungry, not at all friendly. I thought I got a good look at it, but I can't remember it now.

HALLOWEEN IS SO CLOSE I CAN TASTE IT!

It's good to be back with family, yeah as corny as that sounds y'all are like family. Then again sixty years with the cirque will do that to you.

Does anyone have special plans for Halloween? I thought of taking a walk around town or possibly baking something special... suggestions, anyone? I'm still learning, so please accept my ugly cakes. They taste better than they look. I'm also coming up with a new drink for the customers so I'll need plenty of people to test it... if they have the time. If you don't like alcohol, I can offer some tea up instead. I have some blends I'd like to try.

I'm enjoying this stop despite the looks I get when I decide to join tours. No matter how cheerfully I greet them, the monks seem to be waiting for wholesale slaughter to follow in my wake.

Not that I blame them, but I'm honestly pretty tired of wholesale slaughter lately.

I have taken some kind of test thing that told me I'm a Hufflepuff... I'm not sure what that means.

I've never been to Cambodia before but I recognize the towers of Angkor Wat. This is a home for the naga so be careful where you tread. And if we're lucky, we might even get to see a dinosaur - they're all over the walls of the temple and I've read that locals have claimed to see them. Dinosaurs are much preferable to Templars.
