So...is a red suit appropriate to wear to one of these shindigs? Because that's what I currently have. I suppose I could get a proper black one, but I hate being measured. It takes too long, and I'm terrible at standing still.

I'm never gonna get used to walking into my trailer at 11:30pm on one continent and opening the door at 2am to step out onto another. It's so trippy!

Even though I'm really sad that we left Thailand (but not those creepy dolls urgh), I'm so psyched to be in Vienna! I got up kinda early yesterday (before noon!) so I could get in a few hours in and around Stephansplatz and shit it was magical. Crowded as hell but so worth it! I also had the best marillenknödel too, so I was a very happy guy! So happy that I barely minded the cold...

I know many of you are looking forward to this stop and the parties that happen here, and everyone is free to go amongst them and bring back patrons as wanted for a proper disappearance, but do not cause issue outside of the Cirque grounds. This city has old roots that might not be too pleased with employees causing trouble.

That said, it is wished that we throw a promenade for the employees as well. A Yule ball will happen in a month, but for now, a formal dance where outsiders are free to be brought in as guests are allowed. It will be held on Moving Day before we depart for the next location.

It's been insane and you've been amazing. I never could have expected it from someone who I've known for so short a time but I just want you to know how much I appreciate you and how grateful I am.

You know, I'm not usually much for peace-and-light festivals, but I have to say that the lanterns are lovely. After the recent nightmares, it's a nice change of pace as far as feelings go.

All that said, I'm interested to see where our next move takes us. Anyone for bets on hot/cold? Bikini weather or Eskimo gear?

You know, usually I'm fond of small, strange, somewhat-frightening things. But I'm beginning to feel distinctly uncomfortable with our porcelain visitors.

As announcement's go, I feel it is best to make one before our move rather than after. Upon tomorrow, the first night in our new location will also herald the first night of the Hunter's full moon. This moon is a special one and it is Management's wish that every employee be given the chance to agree to participate or not. Upon arrival in the new location, a Wild Hunt is to be called. We will be locked into a space of our own. The sirens, spirits and fae that call humans to their death will be released around the site and any patron that steps inside the Cirque those nights will die. This is an opportunity for our darker members to express themselves and employees that may have been on a lower diet to take in what they will. The rule of not killing or grievously harming employees still applies, but all of the rules about public displays does not. This is not public and no employees will be leaving the grounds. I ask that if you wish not to participate or if you still wish to be chained for the shift of the full moon, to leave a message here. Any children under contract with the Cirque do not have a choice and will be tended to by Baba Violetta in a specialized tent that cannot be accessed by anyone other than her and myself. if you do choose to be locked away, you will be bound to your trailer and anything you may need for those nights will be delivered by magical means.

While it is your choice to whether you participate or not, Security will still be needed to walk the grounds and make sure that no patron escapes by some miracle; if they have long dormant genes of magic that might allow them to step through the barriers.
You are to police the employees as well. They have free reign but they are not to disturb the center Cauldron in any manner or destroy our tents and props and equipment.

I'm Nyah. I signed a new hire contract last night. Just in time for a move, as I hear it. I'll be filling in for Ingrid? Astrid? Asterisk, whatever at Virtue and Vice as a dancer and martini glass contortionist. Sans olive, tragically.

Perhaps I am becoming jaded to the murders that have been occurring with our stops, despite the break for a few months - up until now. I can only think of how glad I am my brain wasn't ripped to shreds by a spirit or how I was visionless and, in fact, out of the loop on this one. It's a rare treat.

That does not mean I am not sorry for the losses or haven't been any sort of upset but there's a sort of... relief that it's a normal grief and not one of deep involvement. Color me cold if you like. I won't mind.

Good morning, everyone. This is a little strange, how to begin. I'm Sirikit. I live with the Wishing Tree. I've been around for a long time, I'm just not very good at socializing. I'm learning. Hello though!

Things have been off this morning. With the tower's long term residents, I mean. The shadow that Marlow saw by the tree came back yesterday. The other spirits ... they're very busy. I don't know what that means, but I'd beg you all to please be cautious. Something has changed. I don't like it at all All the best to each of you.

The shadow Marlow mentioned three days ago reappeared by the tree yesterday while I was refreshing the silks. It just stared for a while. I tried to speak with it. It didn't respond. It felt dark and hungry, not at all friendly. I thought I got a good look at it, but I can't remember it now.

The escapologist got a bit tied up. Apologies to anyone that was inconvenienced by my disappearing act tonight.

I swear to fuck, the next drunk customer who makes a 'spicy Latina' joke, or yells something containing the word 'señorita' after me (or starts singing that damn Justin Timberlake song), they're going to get a finger broken. It's not part of my job to make nice with assholes.

I got to go out shopping in London! Elia and some of the other girls took me along with them on their trip to the posh underwear shops. Elia even insisted on buying me one of the things! She's so nice :)

I've started to feel settled in, at least a little. There's still so much to learn about and I feel like I'll never meet everyone who works here.

My tea shop is amazing. I can't believe I've gone from a little food van to... this incredible wonder that I've been gifted. In my downtime I can climb up on top of it through the window and suddenly I'm so high, and I can just put my earphones in and drink a cup of vanilla tea and everything feels wonderful. I've never felt more like I belong somewhere, especially somewhere that (I suppose by all rights when I'm only human) I shouldn't belong.

I'm so lucky, it's crazy.

Strange. A person, even a small one, is not an easy thing to conceal, and people tend to protest when forced to do things against their will. So where is she? How did no one notice?

Moving Day already – time does fly, doesn't it? I suppose Detroit wasn't as dismal as I thought it would be. But it still wasn't Paris, which I continue to advocate for. We haven't visited in a good long time, and there's no better place to stock up on fabulous new lingerie. It would really be a favor to all of V&V's customers.
