I’ve noticed many of us plan on attending multiple events this week. Rather than spend earnings on several sets of formal wear with the holidays coming up, who would be interested in pooling dresses or suits and sharing as size constraints allow? I’m sure the dress shops in Vienna are thrilled that they’re being almost singlehandedly kept afloat by Cirque employees, but we’ll have plenty of needier economies to stimulate elsewhere and this dress buying spree is absurd. I’ll arrange a rack in the costuming tent if there’s interest.

3) It’s “Guten abend” to say good night. “Gute nacht,” is for someone you live with, or you're sleeping with. Don’t say this casually, it’s the German equivalent of singing the hook from Lady Marmalade at someone you’ve just met. If you must, make sure the ‘cht’ sound is soft. A hard ‘kht’ means “good naked.” Results vary. Use your imagination.

So the welcome wagon says that I'm supposed to say hello here. Have you guys ever considered, like, a packet? Maybe a nice folder with a checklist, some reading material, a brochure? Nothing too serious, a nice tri-fold would do it. But definitely glossy, because the pictures would really sell it. Anyway, you could replace the trailer keys with little key-cards, hotel-style, and join the rest of the modern world. (Seriously, how many hands have these keys been through? Did someone drool on them? Was the drool filled with blood? I'm concerned.)

Anyway. Hello! My name is Lily, and I'll be joining the performers at the Hanged Man. Nice name, a little morbid, but I'm getting a lot of that vibe here. If you're interested in knowing, I'm an aerialist. That means you'll find me on silks and hoops, although I've also got some trapeze and tight-rope skills. It's okay to be amazed, most people are.

Is dream whiplash a thing? Because there I was, getting berated by my father and then, all of a sudden, I was floating through cotton candy clouds, eating them and getting all sugar high. I have to say, it was a decidedly better experience, especially when placed side by side.

In other 'things that have only happened to me since coming to the Cirque' news, I just traded my last bottle of Laphroaig whiskey to a rather grubby but very excitable girl for what I am told is marijuana. Anyone want to come verify that to make sure I didn't get cheated and maybe show me how to consume said marijuana?

So... no good way to say this, but it's my snake-y time of the year and I'm not going to be able to perform for a couple days. It hit hard last night and I'm stuck with scales and no legs until it's over.

Did anyone ask for the mystery cries and screams of fear? I get that it's close to Halloween and we've got to keep up appearances but this is a bit much. Where are they even coming from?

Management has requested for a handful of employees to go to a local pumpkin patch and pick the Cirque out some.
We will be having a Pumpkin carving session following. Make sure the carvings are appropriate or I will force you to start over.

Strip poker and copious amounts of alcohol at my place. Be there or well you suck.

Why don't we have a brothel? Why is there no orgy tent?

To those not shifting or dancing naked under the moon tomorrow night - who has plans?

I know I am new here and only help mend the clothes and costumes, not design them... But don't you think that a pair of "shorts" should be longer than the girls vag? And no, I'm not "old fashioned", I just didn't think that anyone other than a worker of a brothel would be alright with wearing such lack of attire. So that begs to question... Why is there no brothel here? Imagine the money you could make with a whore house. I mean really... I can't be the only one with that thought.
