I’ve noticed many of us plan on attending multiple events this week. Rather than spend earnings on several sets of formal wear with the holidays coming up, who would be interested in pooling dresses or suits and sharing as size constraints allow? I’m sure the dress shops in Vienna are thrilled that they’re being almost singlehandedly kept afloat by Cirque employees, but we’ll have plenty of needier economies to stimulate elsewhere and this dress buying spree is absurd. I’ll arrange a rack in the costuming tent if there’s interest.

I'm almost glad to hear I'm not the only one having nightmares. At least these ones aren't real and it's made by stupid evil dolls. ... what a sentence.

I'm not glad about whatever sickness I've picked up from the customers though. I feel like I'm boiling alive and it was already hot and muggy here before it. My plan is to spend every second I'm not working in bed trying not to die.

You know, usually I'm fond of small, strange, somewhat-frightening things. But I'm beginning to feel distinctly uncomfortable with our porcelain visitors.

Night terrors I can deal with. I'm used to them. What I refuse to accept is the idea that some creepy doll crept into my trailer and beat the shit out of my mate and me without waking me.

Being awake at this time of the day shouldn't be allowed, and nor should creepy dolls or nightmares. I'm fed up of all this weirder than usual shit.

Google tells me that's how you say hello in Thai. Thai isn't a language I can speak even a little bit of, but maybe I'll try and pick some up. I should at least learn a few basic things in every country we visit from now on I think. Just sort of 'yes' 'no' 'hello' and maybe 'my hovercraft is full of eels'.

I'm worried about going out into the city even though I'd really like to, because I read that the law is you have to have your passport on you at all times and I don't even have a passport. Also illegal: stepping on Thai currency, throwing gum away on the ground. Don't get arrested! What happens if someone is in jail when the cirque moves on?

It's been over two years since I was last here. It's crazy that we ended up in Thailand, of all the places in the world, but I'm so happy!

This country is the bomb and I lived here for a little while before, so I know I few phrases if anyone needs help. Seriously though? Now I'm here again, I can not wait to get my hands on some khao soi ASAP. Everyone should try it! Also, for the bloodthirsty or the super adventurous among you, get yourself some kao kun jin or fresh larb muang moo - you'll like it, promise.

I was thinking today about the day that poppa came home from (I don't remember where?) and he brought us Ninja. She was so dumb and used to follow so close behind at your heels and her legs always seemed too short for her body.

Do you know a few times I let her sleep in my bed? I don't know if mom and dad actually knew and just let it slide, or if I actually got away with it.

She was such a good dog. I miss her.

So, Moscow has been pretty awesome. It's beautiful – every time I go out I end up feeling like I'm in a snow globe. Not that I've been going super far, because not speaking or understanding any Russian is a thing, but I hit the tourist traps.

That said, I'm seriously hoping for a beach soon.
