As certain issues are hard to keep restrained and rumours spread all too quickly, I am announcing that the spirit of Jack the Ripper, who had been possessing four individuals amongst us has been taken care of. His last intended victim was not so meek or easily taken as the others had been. Everyone has been released from my custody and no one is being fired for the action of killing the employees as they were not in control. While such an excuse is not going to be taken easily, it is understandable at this time that the Ripper spirit was hunting away from its normal grounds for an unknown reason. It is the wish of Management that everyone enjoy their day off and the festival that will be held tonight. Extra money will be put into your accounts for last minute costume purchases.

It's strange to be back in the place that I was born, both as a human and an immortal, after such a long time away. Things are so different but some remain the same. Strange how that is. It's fun to lurk around old haunts and remember the past.

Like how the last time I was in town, I almost - almost - experienced a quick drop and a sudden stop. Ah, memories.

This time around, I don't plan on getting trapped and tied up. At least, not until showtime.

I got to go out shopping in London! Elia and some of the other girls took me along with them on their trip to the posh underwear shops. Elia even insisted on buying me one of the things! She's so nice :)

I've started to feel settled in, at least a little. There's still so much to learn about and I feel like I'll never meet everyone who works here.

My tea shop is amazing. I can't believe I've gone from a little food van to... this incredible wonder that I've been gifted. In my downtime I can climb up on top of it through the window and suddenly I'm so high, and I can just put my earphones in and drink a cup of vanilla tea and everything feels wonderful. I've never felt more like I belong somewhere, especially somewhere that (I suppose by all rights when I'm only human) I shouldn't belong.

I'm so lucky, it's crazy.

London! It isn't Paris, but I'll take it. At least there's quality shopping to be had, and restaurants to visit, and things to see. My first stop will be Agent Provocateur. And then Coco de Mer. Dolcie Follie. What Katie Did. New corsetry at Honour.

...and then maybe I'll consider clothing fit for public.

Last night was amusing to say the least. Having a Saturday off meant finding my way to a very delicious event that must have been inspired by us.

The Cirque needs to take some pointers though and add a Fistatorium behind Vice and Virtue. I would gladly head it.

This is honestly the most stereotypical place for us to be in, yet I do not mind the ability to wander around the castle as i please without limitations on timing.

I would assume that the beautiful folk who live in the apartments would be have crazed in the presence of history, but alas there are some very lovely young men and women with as much time on their hands as various needs. I might have gotten detained in the apartments for the day, but they can afford sun blocking curtains and some stamina.
