At the moment, it seemed Flora Carrow had been doing everything with great self-discipline. She'd been in the library for most of her afternoon doing her homework, eaten a small portion of light food at dinner, and even now, walking out towards the grounds, she carried herself with short and quick steps that an army general would have been proud of (but much more elegant and dainty in style, of course). Unbeknownst to anyone watching, however, there was a particular reason for her briskness on this particular evening. She quickly headed out of the huge front doors and walked towards one of the benches, hoping to position herself on one of them to catch the last of the evening sun.
When she got there, she opened her bag and removed the small roll of parchment that had been delivered that morning. A letter from her mother, regarding the party to be held at Carrow House over the summer - only in this case, properly celebrating her brother's memory was not the only thing Natalie Carrow had in mind. A slight frown of concentration on her face, Flora unrolled it for the third time that day, and began to read.
