The World Cup WILL take place July 25 through July 28 in Poland. The 28th is reserved for the final match only, so tournament play occurs between July 25 and July 27. All matches will take place in Poland.

Please note that, for security reasons, Muggles are not permitted on World Cup grounds. Yes, this unfortunately means no Muggle family members to players.

HOGWARTS

June 9 :: Muggle Studies class is throwing a 6th & 7th year prom. [Thread]
June 10 :: Hogwarts Class of 1998 Graduation*
June 13 :: Hogwarts Express leaves.

* The 7th Years have come to the end of their years at Hogwarts. Family, friends, and alumni will come together for the graduation ceremony, which will take place on the Quidditch pitch and be followed by a grand feast in the Great Hall.

Tomorrow afternoon, an announcement will be made regarding the new Hogwarts Headmaster.

Hogwarts House Quidditch

Today's match of Gryffindor v. Hufflepuff resulted in a Gryffndor victory. The final score was 220-80. The game lasted about 1 hour and Hufflepuff was up by 10 when Harry Potter caught the snitch.

The Hogwarts Quidditch Cup will be on Saturday, May 26 between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw.

Standings were: Gryffindor in 1st, Ravenclaw in 2nd, Slytherin in 3rd, and Hufflepuff in 4th.

1. Sign ups for the Dueling Tournament, which will take place the last 3 weekends in March, began yesterday. If you can comment below with your character's name if they're signing up, that would be great. I'll have more information on the tournament when I'm not running out the door.

2. The Gryffindor - Ravenclaw Quidditch match happened today, beginning at 2. It lasted just about 3.5 hours with a final score of ... wait for it! ... Gryffindor 340 and Ravenclaw 280. All of the Ravenclaw points were scored by their chasers. Harry Potter caught the snitch to end (and win) the game. Congratulations to Gryffindor!
