WHO: Charlie and Percy Weasley

WHERE: Chinese restaurant in London

Charlie and Percy chose to have dinner at a nearby Chinese restaurant. Percy rarely ate Chinese and since Charlie had visited the country, it seemed like the thing to do. Of course, the Western version of Chinese food was vastly different than how the natives ate.

They were seated by a little Asian woman in a booth toward the back of the store. Apparently the place was rather popular and everywhere else was full. After pouring over their menus, the boys placed their orders. When their food arrived they ate in silence for a bit.

Percy was determined to use the chopsticks provided by the waitress. Though he'd basically gotten the hang of them, he was still having trouble with some of the smaller pieces of food. At one point, his frustration caused him to try to catch a bit of chicken mid-air as it fell from his chopsticks when he put them to his lips resulting in wild gestures. He put the chopsticks to the side and took a deep breath. His eyes cut to Charlie.

"Don't laugh," he accused, sitting up straighter.

WHO: Rolf, Oliver, Jessica, Aidan, Charlie, Lindsay, Bethany, and any other tag-alongs/randos.
WHEN: Saturday night, 8 o'clock and on.
WHERE: Spark.
WHAT: Rolf wanted to take people out for drinks for his b-day. Partying shall ensue.

The British and Irish League hosted the Annual Quidditch Season Launch Event this Sunday. The day was divided into two segments. ( This is ten percent luck, twenty percent skill / Fifteen percent concentrated power of will / Five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain / And a hundred percent reason to remember the name! )

WHAT: Surprise birthday party for Kates!

Angie was a genius. She'd managed to get Katie out of the way long enough for Alicia to get everything set up. Which meant first of all, that she magically expanded the tent. They were going to need a good amount of space. And that was followed by a quick spot clean, lots and lots of alcohol set out, all sorts of random yummy snack food, and some fun and colorful decorations complete with a banner that said 'Happy Birthday Katie!'. (All the letters danced up and down. Hey, Aly was going all out here.) She got a table transfigured and moved to just slightly out of the way for people to put stuff for Kates on.

Alicia grinned and set the pair of bright yellow wellies she'd brought on it. They were definitely a statement piece.

Angie was keeping Katie out of the way for a bit so that people could have time to get there and get settled. Aly was crossing her fingers that they'd have a good turn out, even though they were in the middle of the World Cup.
