Hestia had grown tired of only speaking to Mal via the journals. She knew that her sister and her friends had warned her to wait, not to jump into anything with him too quickly, but they'd been corresponding for weeks. She thought it was time for them to meet properly.

And even that thought was a little silly. After all, they'd been in the same house for years, and just never taken the time to speak to each other. If she was honest, she thought he hadn't even known she existed until they started flirting.

She would wait no longer. She felt a flutter of excitement in her stomach as she made up her mind, stood, and went to seek him out.
