Molly knew that she and Arthur shouldn't have splurged on a new broom for Ginny. They knew it well. However, it was hard to not award their youngest for deciding to go back to school instead of deciding to play professional Quidditch a year early. Molly understood how important that final year was, and hoped that Ginny would reach a point that she was completely glad she made the decision to go back one last year. She thought back to her studies, and how concentrated they had been in her seventh year. While they weren't something she used daily, she was forever grateful for that time of study, and felt herself a better person for it.
But really, she didn't want her youngest to be leaving school yet. Let's be honest.
Molly, having given Ginny the day off to continue to gorge on cupcakes, said she's go to Diagon and take care of the boring school shopping. She had a few books to buy, Molly thought made a stop in Quality Quidditch was in order, see if she could budget a few more accessories for their Quidditch captain into the shopping. She walked into the store and, as she always did, felt mildly overwhelmed. Molly was no expert at Quidditch, and while she understood the game quite well, she never fully grasped all the hype and excitement. So, she found herself wandering between aisles, staring at things and asking herself, would Ginny need this?
