Good news. We're on track to have the school open in the fall. Not just for the children of refugees. But, also for native Sadtech staff. I'm also working on expanding our scholarship programs to include attendance to our school for those children eligible.

As such, we do also need teachers. At this point they will not necessarily be full-time positions, so can be done alongside your other responsibilities. So, if you are interested, please let me know.

I would also like to include ability specific lessons in the curriculum. Which for many students, means I will need help from their parents, or others from your worlds. Especially for skills like magic, as they are very specific to your own worlds. Where as meta-human and mutant type powers are more my area of expertise.

Of course, this is not all an immediate concern, and may not be relevant until they manifest their powers. Just, something to consider.

One of these days, I'll have to teach everyone Exploding Snap. Of course, that will require a properly charmed deck, first.

There is a Severe Heat Advisory for today and the next few days. I'd just like to remind everyone to take precautions.

Stay hydrated, wear long loose clothing, take cool baths and showers. If you can, avoid using the oven and stick to cooler meals. Use sunscreen to protect your skin.

This also goes for pets. Make sure they have plenty of water and shade. Dogs, for example, don't have the same natural cooling mechanisms than we do, so we need to keep a close eye on them.

If you start feeling faint and find yourself sweating excessively or not sweating at all when you should be - get out of the heat and then get to Medical as quickly as possible. If you can't get here, send me a message, and I can apparate to you and bring you back.

Yeah, you know what. We're doing the musical that I mentioned oh so many months ago. We need the distraction.

Auditions on the 18th. We're doing Wicked.

Applications for backstage also appreciated. We can make do with recordings for the music. But do need lights, sound, props, costume etc.

The incident with the portal doesn't seem to have affected the amber, at least. I'm still not convinced about trying it again, but it isn't preventing discovery of the pods.

This might be a crazy idea. I don't know, it might not even work here, but...

I was thinking about maybe opening a magic shop. Some hokey trick stuff, but if I can manage it, I thought it would be cool to include some real stuff, too. Like potion ingredients, real magic, stuff for us.

I haven't totally thought this through and maybe it's a dumb idea. Please tell me if it's a dumb idea.

I have studied the different types of magic in my world for over a millenia. Even though I can no longer use it, I know a lot about how it works, and how to make dark objects to allow it to work for those who cannot use magic directly. I believe some of your magic is similar enough to ours, that you may be able to use some of what I know.
