A bunch of people didn't come into work. They said they called out sick but...I think it's what's happening. It's so weird. Nothing wrong with me except this mark on my hand.

It would appear that I am trapped in a web of someone's making, in a town, in a place that I have no real role in after all. Is there ANYONE of Avalon here? My cousin Morgaine would know, perhaps, or my mother, who is Lady there, but it seems they, and my other cousin, Gwydion...sorry, it's Arthur now, the son of Uther Pendragon, are nowhere to be found. Nor the Merlyn of Avalon either.
There are a great number of things to ponder and it would seem that I am alone with most of them. Does anyone here happen to know something of Camelot, perhaps, just as a way to start processing how very far from home I am or what faerie enchantment I've stepped into?

Apparently, chirping your fellow PT...inmates? detainees? temporary prisoners of the sadists known as therapists is somehow frowned upon. So is seeing who can do the most reps in the shortest period of time. A few weeks into my program and there's a few of us who aren't allowed to book appointments together anymore. Because we may or may not have "potentially set back our progress".
...I feel oddly accomplished. And am apparently a bit too competitive. But if you can't laugh through the pain, when CAN you laugh, eh?
...This whole thing has taught me that I badly need new friends. And a hobby that does not involve physical strain. What IS a sidelined hockey jock to do?
