The instant you think this place cannot get any more screwed up something else comes along. I never thought I'd be so glad to be back to normal... Just in time for an unwanted birthday.

I think that you and I need to talk. Believe it or not I approve of the changes to the security room, working off of Chloe's old equipment I was patching systems and writing programs from scratch. I have some new things on my personal computer that I'm preping for upload.

Residents, my name is Hardison and I am your tech saviour. I am currently in your security room, updating your system. So if you here any noises from down there, it's just me. Possibly Kit, but I don't need her help so-

Vic gave me the head's up on some comm-links Barbara made for the security team before (if you're still here Babs, speak up because we're moving on without you if you don't). I'm going to find one and see what I can do to improve it, but it allows vocal communication on several different frequencies. Now, it will definitely be useful for those working in the security room to have these so we can stay in communication at all times. And I think that whoever works on patrols could benefit from it though, so leave your name and I can hook you up. But Vic made a suggestion about mass producing it and giving it to all residents. I don't know if the money or time put into that will be worth it personally because everyone and their mom has a cell phone these days and we can just send out a mass text when we need to. And while I am good, nothing is unhackable and I don't want a comm-link to fall into the wrong hands. But I'm gonna let you fine folks of the complex vote on it. Just remember, I only have as much money as I can steal...which is a lot.

So. What's up?

I wished for the Batmobile. It's outside now. Touch it and..well, you don't want to touch it with the wrong intention. She can defend herself almost just as well as I could. Fully functional Batmobile..it's, there are no words to how many memories this brings back.

I kind of look forward to Christmas this year. Extra bad guys that need catching, eggnog, and food. It can't be bad. But I think I need to make myself a better sweatshirt, moving around in the one I grabbed last night was not easy. It kept getting caught on things. I should make this work in the winter. Maybe temperature controlled heat warmers. That would be awesome. I know what I'm doing tonight, hunting for spare sheet metal and building.


Anyway, Bruce and I never really had Christmas traditions. Most of them included extra hours of patrol for those few Grinches who thought Twas the Season for shop lifting and robbery. Even High crime. Alfred would make dinner, and Bruce would usually disappear somewhere to brood probably..so I was wondering, what kind of Christmas traditions did you people have? I've never really celebrated this all done up right or anything. Once I moved out of Gotham City even it kind of seemed even weirder to do it on my own. So I haven't tried it before, but this year I think I sort of want too.

It really is enough drunken antics. We saw it. We all saw it. Now its time to get back down to business.

Lindsey has a new cache of weapons he got back from the Croats. They're up for bids again, but my stash of alcohol isn't going to be enough this time. You have a better idea of what can be spared for these than I do. What do you think? He gave me a list. There's some good stuff in there.

Got a pretty important mission coming up. It's a recovery mission, straight into a hotzone. Hoping for an in-and-out type, but you should be ready for things to get messy.

At the gym today they had those tiny little sandwiches for lunch break for the employees. Alfred always used to make them for Bruce's parties when I was a kid. But compare to his they were disappointing.

For all you fresh meat out there: I'm Xander and I'm the guy who's gonna be teaching you how to use all those fun shooty things. They come in handy when those pesky baddies decide to swing into the city and try to possess you/eat your brains/make you spontaneously combust from happiness. Although! I'm gonna go ahead and point out that we're not allowed to shoot anything but rock salt at those black-eyed demons. Someone out there would probably kick my ass for not telling you all, so that bit of info is definitely going out there right now. I won't let you in my class if you plan on shooting demons with regular ol' bullets. That's not how I roll.

Listen up, you crazies. I don't know who drugged my Orange Crush, stole me off an airplane, and stuck me in Nowhere, USA. But the second I figure this out, I'm going to have my friend Eliot beat all of y'all up cause this is just cruel.

You're just lucky you weren't dumb enough to take my laptop.

There will be a training session game of rooftop tag the day after tomorrow. Anyone able to is welcome to join in. Those interested in future shifts in the Security Room should report to me at seven PM for orientation. The games will commence at eight and run for two hours. At the end the team with the most people left standing will be proclamed the winner.
