Is everybody here a grown up? How long do I gotta be here til I can go back to my mom and Dexter and Cody and Sergent Debbie and everything? So far everybody seems real nice here and everything but it's cold and there's no beach and my friends aren't here. But at least Detective Juliet is nice and she's letting me stay with her for a little while cuz I don't have anywhere else to go or anything and her apartment is kinda nice and everything. And she showed me how to put on a filter so the bad guys don't get me here too like they did back home and she gave me a cool necklace and everything so I like it here okay so far. And this place makes my Inside Shadow kinda itchy and I don't like that but maybe it'll go away and its just cuz I heard about all the scary stuff like everybody getting all sick and everything.

Um since theres no kids and no beach what do I do for fun? Do I just read all this stuff? Some of it my Mom probably wouldn't want me to read because it's bad...like the guy that came in after me and was swearing and swearing but if I wouldn't get in trouble I'd have been swearing and swearing too.

I've graduated high school and I have tested at a genius level in computer science and applied technology. So, a fast food job (as you can probably tell) would really bore me.

So, there's a guy here, his name is Jimmy. He knows me from his world, I think, but he hasn't said as much yet. Not the point, though. The point is that he hasn't actually ever dealt with his mutation. In his world mutants are sent to camps and people are even worse than ours. I kind of said that you were around if he needed someone to talk to or whatever along with me.

Mainly because he's never dealt with being a mutant, he never had time. He seems to really dislike his mutation, mentioned bloodlust in relation to it.

So, from the sounds of it people have lost some friends lately and things generally aren't exactly the greatest at the moment. I don't really know any of you, so I won't say that I understand, but I definitely sympathize. So, I just hope that everyone deals with what they have to.

ETA: And to make sure no one stresses themselves out needlessly, the scan was so light touch and widespread that I couldn't even identify who's thoughts I was getting in the jumble. So feel free to be upset about a harmless psi-scan if you want, but all you're really accomplishing by growling at me about it is giving me an ID for the thoughts when I didn't have that before.

I'm renovating and expanding it right now, so I don't want to do it until after that's done, but after it's done I'd like it if it could be warded to have a similar level of mystical security to the complex. If anyone wanted to help me with normal security that would also be awesome. Money's no object in either case, I want this place to have the best of the best and if that costs top dollar I'm just fine with that.
