Come over as soon as possible? I know I told you about my time on the Bebop and that jacket is a sign Spike really is dead. All I had was rumors for years and its like a part of the past is gone.

(ooc: be kind, Ed's having a massive meltdown thanks to Spike's jacket. Anyone on or near her apartment would have heard the scream or smelled the mushrooms.)

Now that I have crossed one item off my bucket list I would like to attempt to cross another item off. Provided we are still alive after the fighting I would like to obtain a degree. I see there are late start classes at the local university. How would I go about enrolling there?

I had a very nice time last night. Would you like to have dinner tomorrow evening? I would ask for tonight but I am helping an acquaintance cope with the loss of a friend of hers to the seal.

I got asked on a date for this weekend and need fashion insight. Its the opera and dinner so I know its formal dress but with the time period factor I'm just stumped for ideas.

I had a thought. If the complex gets targeted and is uninhabitable, are there other places for those of us who live there to be housed? And if there is, are there adequate supplies there? I have been helping to monitor things abroad so I was unaware of the meeting until it was already over. And will there be another meeting for planning purposes? I would be keen to attend the next one.

A bucket list was mentioned earlier and I said I wanted to see an opera performed live but I doubted that would happen here. Apparently there is an opera performance in Kansas City on Saturday, and provided the fighting hasn't started I thought you might want to come with me? It's in Italian and is titled "The Capulets & The Montagues" so I'm assuming it's based upon Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Are you by any chance interested? We could consider it a date if you would like. If you would even want to go out on a date with me, at any rate.

Anyone else wondering exactly what we're supposed to do during all this apocalypse stuff? I wish Elena was still

Tossing around some ideas with people. How do you think you'd do helping organize a blood drive?

Apparently the way to get a slightly deranged genius detective off the floor is to quite literally force tea down his throat.

I feel John would be vindicated with this knowledge. Tea literally saves lives.

All that being said, this is where I stand. I'm no good at the fighting, other than the ability to defend myself. But financially, my family is well off. And we should likely start stocking up on supplies. Stock piling food and water, reinforcing the building, having extra holy water and amulets ready at a moment's notice.

I think we all know what's coming is coming soon. We just don't know what to prepare for. But if anyone would like to assist with the organization side of things, I'll gladly take helpers. It's about all I can do

Have you seen the news? Since you know Europe better than I do I could use a second set of eyes since I'm tracking the storm on the East Coast and that volcano in Germany (that part bugs me, it was supposed to be a dead one of all things). But I can offer treats and good company :)

Because this feels funny to admit but you gave me a lot to chew on (to borrow the expression) the other night. I know our worlds and our methods of crime fighting are different but maybe the 60's and 2080 have more in common than before. Plus maybe it was fate that had me motor past the parking lot where I found you, because as fish out of time you actually get it.

I believe MP3 players and stereo headphones are the best inventions of the last fifty years, possibly followed by the computer. At least I will not annoy people with loud opera performances in the middle of the night, as I used to do at home.

So we end up with a lot of time-dispalced folks here who kinda go "holy crap how do I use this thing?" at a lot of the technology and really guys don't even ask how this idea did not come to me sooner, but I'm going to be putting together a Tech 101 class. Connorrrr do you wanna help? Or you know other tech peeps too. There's several of us and all. Clearly, Connor is just my favorite (but not really ily all).

Anyway yes. This is on my agenda and I'm just kinda trying to put together a list of hot-button items we should probably go over. There's the obvious of computers/cell phones/mp3 players, things of that nature but hey if there's anything else people think should be thrown into the mix, feel free to toss them at me. Or if there's anything you time-dispalced folks are/were particularly confused at, let me know and we can add it in too.

Apparently forty-eight years have passed for me. This will take some getting used to, as will all the new technology that has been invented. But I'll make do, I suppose.

Edward explained much. But there is still so much I don't understand. She mentioned classes I could take. Are they like university classes, or something different? And which would be best to start with? I understand there is a war of some sort brewing, and I want to be prepared.

I'm going stir crazy. I've been cooped up in my apartment learning more about what's been going on in the year I missed, and I've attended a few of the classes that Allison told me about, but I need to get out. I need to do something. How would I go about getting back into law enforcement in some way? I've been an FBI profiler the last few years and I was on my way to head up the British field office for INTERPOL when I got sucked here. I have skills, now I just need an outlet.

How are you guys handling it? I think I have to go back. I feel so useless here.

It has been brought to my attention that you are the one I need to talk to. Can you help me out by getting me into the system? I just want to get back to work. Any work in law enforcement, really, but I'd prefer the FBI if at all possible.

Decision made, I'm signing up for online graduate school classes (since from what I'm hearing its a more reasonable option for what I'm doing). Computer science of course and for a cover I've been living and working overseas for the last couple of years.

I'm curious: since I'm looking into taking some graduate level computer science classes I need a cover story to explain not going to undergrad here among other things. So would spending the last couple of years working overseas work or should I think of something better?
