War Is Coming Communications.

Okay, those of us who cannot lift buildings with our hands or our superpowers, let's get organized.

First everyone who is okay please check in. That way we can see if anyone we know is missing.
Everyone who has people staying at their places--like Eponine's Inn--how's your structural damage?

Then try to start collecting things: water bottles, canned foods, blankets, extra clothes, coats, socks, anything that people who are needing to use shelters now might need. There are already places around town looking for donations.

The Red Cross is out looking for blood donors. Do what you can, where you can. But be careful. I'm sure Lucifer will use this as an opportunity for demon hopping if he can.

Did everyone make it out okay?

Despite the fact that Lord Talks a Lot doesn't seem to have much to say other than antagonizing everyone, it has to be said that he does have a point. We don't have a plan in place. We're falling apart and that's not going to get this war won. He's clearly making his move. The world is at risk, here. Biblical plagues, natural disasters, and more? And now he's made it far more personal against Ruby Winchester.

We need a plan in place and we need to face it with as much bravery as we can manage. It is unlikely that what he said is true. If he had any control over the Seal at all, he'd have merely brought in those most likely to kill those of us already here. If we do get sent back, though, at least we'll have done some good. If we lose this and are still here, what good will come of it? If we don't die at his hands or his demons', we'll suffer to our deaths in the world he creates.

My suggestion? Enjoy the time you have while you have it, live each and every day. But organize. We've run out of time. We act now or we may not get a chance to act at all.

I think I am not going to enjoy this holiday season. I have no family here and few friends, and now I am alone. Is it bad I wish for the seal to take me back now? At least home I would have Marguerite and Percy with me. I miss them terribly.

Thank you for making sure I did not get sick, and for not forcing me to talk about things. Depending on how my day goes I may go out for more drinks. If I do, would you like to accompany me again? I do not think I will drink as much, and I might be a better drinking partner in that I am not trying to actively drown my sorrows.

I suppose you know by now, as you are Lydia's best friend. I hope this does not affect our friendship, as you are one of my favorite people here.

I feel the need to get inebriated tonight. Very inebriated. And I do not think I should drink alone. Would anyone care to accompany me?

So. Is everyone's show/book/movie scarily accurate? Or are we just THAT lucky? Because really there are a lot of things I'd be okay with no one knowing and other things I never needed to see.

I apologize for only posting this today. I was otherwise occupied. My French student said the head of the science department is [name] and his contact number is [phone number]. He was confident there are some positions open. Hopefully you can find something that will work for you.

I am happy that I have found a nice apartment now, one that is close to the university so that it will be easier to get to the students that I tutor. I am honestly surprised I was able to find one as nice as my old home at the complex was. I thank you both for your hospitality, Eponine and Enjolras, and please note that I will still continue to help at the inn whenever you need me.

I remember you once offered to help those of us who lost our belongings when the complex exploded get new things. Is that offer still open? And would it extend to furniture and electronics? I have a bed and a dresser that came with the apartment, and I had been able to salvage things from my old home, but there is still much more that needs replacing. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

When I get my home more furnished I would like to make dinner for you. I am hoping by next week I should have what I need, considering at the moment I have nowhere for us to sit or to eat at. Does that sound acceptable to you?

Is it worth applying for any jobs in the middle of an Apocalypse?

Should I even bother trying to get a job? Because outside for school (only part time as it is) I can't take just sitting around for much longer.

But if anyone needs a decent enough editor (I've proofed chapters for my dad on occasion) or baby sitter I can at least hire myself out as one?

The cage and the explosion are bleeding together, have to keep hiding what happened for now. Easy to pass off not sleeping as simply a lot of school work thankfully.

I am long past-due in asking this, but- how might a sorcerer such as myself find purpose in this place?  I feel as if I ought to be of use somewhere, but I am at a loss as to how.

I have been thinking for a time that it might be best if I had access to a pistol of some sort. These are dangerous and uncertain times, and I would feel safer if I had something to protect myself and those I care about. Is there a way to obtain one legally, and if so, what would I need? And if not, could someone help me obtain one anyway?

I still do not quite understand the point of Halloween. Rose has graciously tried to explain it, but I still do not see the reasoning behind it. Things were very different in my time. Though I have heard there will be sweets, and I suppose any occasion to indulge my sweet tooth must be good.
