Because I wasn't very big on watching television even back home, I can't tell what's made this all go downhill. Whether it's the time period, the culture of the world in general, or perhaps it's just the time of day. But as I just spent half an hour trying to decide if this pork roast was actually as simple as the chef on the telly made it look, perhaps it's time I found a way to be productive.

Okay, so it occurs to me that SOME people (Spider-Man, whaaaat?) need to be more social. And that we have loads of new people (Caroline, this means you!) who could stand to make some friends. AND that we've all had a pretty rough few weeks here and some of us could stand to get out for a little while.

So, Good People of the Apocalypse (....okay, the name needs work), I propose a movie and dinner. We'll all go do World War Z cause we can laugh about their sorry apocalypse cause dudesies, we know that's not how it reeeally works.

And THEN we'll invade some awesome place for dinner. I'm thinking we take over a couple of tables at a Japanese place so we can do the awesome Watch Them Cook It At Your Table thing. But I am totes open to super fun and unique suggestions.

So, this whole being fictional thing. First of all, I don't like it. Hello, I'm new around here, and trying to get a hang of this. Someone showed me how to do this and said I might be able to find people I know on here. I didn't see a list anywhere so hopefully if I write something it'll work. It sounds awfully unlikely, but: anyone who knows someone called Tonks who's from London and has pink hair, that's me, so let me know, yeah? It would be really nice to see a familiar face.

Also if anyone's found a wand I've lost something rather important and I’d like to get it back. Is there a lost and found somewhere? Worth a try, anyway...

I know everyone's stressed and shit right now, but with all the new potentially dangerous vampires around, I wanted to know if there is some way we can extend the invitation requirement to the public areas of the complex? Not all vampires need invitation into homes, but even that doesn't do much good for people outside their flats. If there's any way we can spell the entire building so that no vampires can enter without permission, it would make everyone here a hell of a lot safer.

I don't know exactly what protections are on this house I'm living at. I've managed to use some magic to discern a few of them but not all. So maybe I'll try to get a temporary room in the complex, especially with all the crazy going on now.

Not really sure what I'll do when I go back. Maybe hang out with my brother more. Or visit my former professors from Hogwarts, or see about some work. I guess there's always the Daily Prophet, or MoM work with transport or magical artifacts division. Hopefully other!me hasn't changed too much of it for me or made anyone suspicious of anyth But I am glad that this other version of myself, that he has friends here. And that he does have a family in his own world too.

I just got an idea. Miniature portkey? I'm not quite the magic duelist, but I've always had an aptitude for transport application and operation. Portkeys, floo network, apparition, etc. My idea is to make a little portkey object and then put it in something. Like in a small bag or something. So if someone gets taken again, they just reach in and touch it, wham, they get sent somewhere safe. Maybe to the complex lobby area.

I don't think I could go on any more missions for a while. I'm okay in a fight, it's just the.. after stuff, it's sort of an issue given my past. We saw it, how I nearly broke down after that big one Can't go through that all over again, just cant I'd more likely be a liability. So rather than put me at risk and the teams, maybe I can help out in other ways. Like with the portkey thing, or maybe enchantments. But emergency portkey options are definitely something I could assist with.

Sorry to all of you newbies and everything, but we've already got a situation going on aside from jerks threatening people on arrival.

1. Start adding Lord Harry Yorke or Hal to your filters. The guy is a vampire and he's apparently damn bad news. Not going to be your average vampire so sit down and shut up if you think you can just go and stake the guy. He possibly was involved in the hotel incident earlier today and this goes along with part 2.

2. It looks like he's kidnapped someone. A redhead who's helped him before. We're trying to get more to go on, but that's what we have so far. Lily Potter hasn't checked in with Harry yet, so she's on the list of possible people he's taken. Can I get a role call of all redheads? Because I feel we need this.

Anyone got a clue on how we track down a vampire?
