I'm going to go on record stating that as a California guy, I am decidedly not a fan of cold weather. Like at all.

Someone has to say it, might as well be me.

Anyone else not too thrilled about going back to school and pretending everything is great?

Anyone got a good cover story for a broken index finger? I have to drop off some editing in the morning and well its plan for the worst and hope nobody gets nosy.

I did consider letting one the vampires heal me as it was suggested but its like the idea is just a little too spooky. Plus its just a finger, I can suffer.

Soooo broken arm is a thing I can add to my list of childhood injuries for future reference... For the record, it sucks. How long is it gonna be before my left arm is useable again? :(

Everyone ok all things considered? Outside of a ton of cuts and bruises I have a broken finger.

The answers in war are never simple. I believe we can all agree, however, that it is time. We move. Now.

Detroit, Michigan is 801 miles away. Do we have a way to transport an army to this point? As many as are willing to fight with us. The front lines will, of course, take on Lucifer himself. He will be surrounded by supporters attempting to stop what we intend to do, and that is where the others will come in. Exorcise if you can, if there is time, but we may no longer have a choice. When under attack, quick thinking and intelligent decisions need to be made. Self-sacrifice is not an option unless it becomes a requirement.

You all have a part to play in this, and I would prefer to not deal with any bickering or in fighting. We stand together or we do not stand at all. You may choose to trust me or you may hate me, but you will follow or we will lose. And losing is not something I do well.

If you are all ready and willing to stand together to end this once and for all, we leave in forty-eight hours. Find transport and soon. Further strategy information will come, and suggestions will be looked at. I am not unreasonable and any help will be welcomed.

Sorry for the screaming last night. It looks like my kidnappers have made a comeback via nightmares.

The ante got upped in the most recent round, the kidnappers threated to kill my dad and grams. Not sure how much more I can take since it was pretty fresh to start with.

Anyone near the Burger King *insert address* ? I'm stranded but in one piece (at least beyond minor injuries). Was dropping off some editing nearby when the storm hit.

[OOC: Pretend this is posted around ten PM and Kirk was trying to sleep around eight. Anyone at Greaves House going by his apartment probably heard him wake up screaming both times.]

I tried to get some sleep after staying up for over twenty-four hours and the whole time was just one continuous nightmare. I woke up, went back to sleep and it just picked right back up. I already have to live in the same town as that asshole and now he's stuck in my head and killing everyone I care about? God damn it. And I got the feeling I'm not having these dreams due to anything I can control. So this is just kinds of a heads up, because I get the sinking suspicion this is not going to go pleasantly for any of us. Now for me to stay up even longer. Hopefully if I drop from exhaustion I won't have the dreams again, but I doubt I'll be that lucky.

I've faced everything that goes bump in the night, surely I can face coffee deprived morning people.

Should I even bother trying to get a job? Because outside for school (only part time as it is) I can't take just sitting around for much longer.

But if anyone needs a decent enough editor (I've proofed chapters for my dad on occasion) or baby sitter I can at least hire myself out as one?

The cage and the explosion are bleeding together, have to keep hiding what happened for now. Easy to pass off not sleeping as simply a lot of school work thankfully.

It's been nearly a year since I opened the Lawrence Youth Center. It's seen its highs and lows. But I'm damn proud of it.

Before we opened, I threw a huge Halloween bash to celebrate. I had planned on making it annual but with the possessions, the explosions, and the losses we faced, I thought it would be wrong.

But screw Lucifer. It can't be the huge thing it was last year, but why couldn't we have just something small? Just us, music from someone's iPod playing on the sound system, drinks, food...

Obviously we'd up security. Have all of our magic users add wards and so on. But...anyone interested?

I know we've got people hooking each other up with food and board, but what about all that other stuff that people need? Clothes? Phones? Replacements for some of the essentials that got blasted to bits when everything went all explodey?

If you're like me, you're not made out of money, so getting all that stuff back is likely to be tough going. Fortunately for you, if there's anyone who knows how to survive without a wad of green in their pocket, it's me. I've got a certain knack for picking up items on the DL and I can do it for you guys if you tell me exactly what it is you need.

So? Any takers? Bueller?

Is it bad to say that right about now I'm wishing I was old enough to drink? Maybe it'll knock me flat and let me sleep for one night without the cage and explosion blending together.

But I turn 19 on the 17th and this birthday is going to grandly suck.
