I need help from someone on how to act ... I don't know. The way the wife of an MI-5 agent's supposed to act, however that is? Apparently some woman who's Aaron's superior thinks I act "immaturely" and might "affect my husband's chances for promotion".
Though I want it on record that I didn't actually throw anything at the stupid bitch's head when she turned away from me. Rather proud of myself for that. |

Okay, none of you had better tell the news or anything, but EEEE I'M MARRIED! I've just got to get my name changed officially, but I'm Penelope Vael now, yee! And my wedding was gorgeous and I'm so glad that everyone who could show up did and it was beautiful and now we're going to Saint Bart's for a week and I am going to talk to NOBODY unless they're my husband.
And even then, I'm only talking to him if he's naked. Or if we're in public, getting food or drink. Got to keep up our energy levels. |

You know, it was bad enough growing up with three redoubtable dowager aunts with definite and outdated ideas about what I should or shouldn't be doing with my life. Having inherited another three here is more than anyone should have to put up with. Honestly, it doesn't end. That's improper, think about the dignity of the house, don't be so unladylike, some things never go out of fashion, be on your best behavior, be sure to attend such and such event, be sure to talk to Prince So-and-so of Wherever, don't be sarcastic... Am I ten years old again and just didn't notice? Suddenly I remember why I caused so much trouble when I was growing up. It was the only way to keep my sanity.
Well, I never paid more attention to Tia, Celly, or Rouge than I absolutely had to, and they actually were relations. Damned if I'll humor these old bats. |

Bloody hell, I had to do some fast thinking to come up with a "maiden name" for the marriage license! Why did no one tell me there'd be a marriage license? I must've looked like an idiot. Anyway. Rather happy now. Just wanted to thank all you lot who came to the ceremony and the party. Sebastian, thank you so much. It was ... wonderful, all of it.
And now, it was a lovely time, but now, if anyone wants me or Aaron for the next week or so, they can, with my great love and appreciation, piss right off.

I have recently acquired a castle in sweet Bucharest, and have found myself without companionship.
I shall gladly pay for all fees that come with the methods of travel chosen, but dear me, this place is far too magnificent to keep to myself. The idea of companionship is one I have recently grown rather fond of.
Do not let the reputation my name has seared before me unsettle you. I am not the monster this "Stoker" has made me out to be. Once, I was a man. A human being.
Many centuries later, I am not one anymore. That does not mean I do not have the same basic needs that come along with humanity.

I'm all right, on the mend. Been lying on the couch at home being bossed around by my son (well, both versions of Jack, as well as the little one can manage) and boyfriend. I know they're just wanting me to be careful and I love them for it. Just not used to staying in one spot. Maybe going a trifle loopy.

The world of the cinematic industry is quite imaginative. Such small fish with such loud voices, and the idea of sharks who abstain from their prey. A film meant for children, I am assured, but it is unsettling nonetheless.
On the topic of fish, I have noticed many beautifully-coloured and fan-tailed fish for purchase in many types of store that seem to live their entire lives in a small bowl, alone. How horrible for them, I think. I was informed that they are very pugnacious, and will kill each other if they are together, but if that is factual, how is it that the species is continued? If they live a life alone with no other, how do they breed?
A life alone, in a small place, with no chance of proper movement. Mankind can be much more cruel than they first appear. |
