PENELOPE: What are you doing on [a certain evening]?
I find that an unexpected delegation from someplace called Luxembourg is going to be descending on me on that day. There's to be an enormous state dinner that evening. Carlo is already aflutter. Would you care to be my hostess?
I don't care what people say, before you ask. I want you to be there, at least, even if you won't be my hostess. If you won't, though, I'll have to ask the Prince's rather brainless cousin Caroline.
HOTCHNER: First: I wonder if you might have the contacts to look into something for me. I don't want to make Penelope upset, and this would ... One of the Prince's maids has left the castle. Apparently she has a child for her belly before she's a husband for her bed. My word of honor that it's none of my doing, but she just ... vanished. She left in the middle of the night, apparently, with only a note for my senior housemaid Emilie. I'd like to find her. Help her, if I can, without stirring rumors that her predicament is my doing.
Second: Do let me know when you and Isabela are planning to have your ceremony. I had a gift of sorts I wanted to present to you both.
Third: In your opinion, will Penelope hit me if I ask her to dig up information on Neal Caffrey?
ALISTAIR: Apologies for simply using your full name; I no longer know what you wish to be called.
I wondered if you might like to come see my grounds sometime. Discuss things. I'd be pleased to meet another man of the Chantry, as well.
