Hello, everyone. As most of you have probably heard, some of us raided the pirate ship the other night. We came away with a fair quantity of dried beans and salted meat, as well as at least one barrel of water, bolts of various cloths.

Can anyone add anything to my (probably incomplete) summation of what we have available?

After a trip yesterday to check out the ship, and with help from some merfolk, Hope, Ben, and I returned with the following:
1 barrel of clean drinking water.
2 containers with a mix of blankets and food.

I don't know about the stairs (always such fun choose-your-own-adventure options) but Michelle and I brought back some goodies from the ghost ship that was here before. Beans, plenty of beans, and enough bolts of fabric to make clothes - if anyone's decent at sewing, now's your time to shine; let me know and I'll sign you up. The material is easy enough to work with - linen, silk, brocade, that sort of thing. But we could especially use the linen for the infirmary.

And speaking of that, check-ups are a good idea. If you haven't gone for one yet.

Well, this is certainly a time. And speaking of time, that's mainly what I work with - studying the flow and path of newly diverged timelines, when those timelines become autonomous, and they could potentially intersect with others. Name's Mobius, and I used to work for an organization called the Time Variance Authority - but they proved to be pretty awful so now I guess I just call myself an independent contractor.

I arrived with Sharon from a universe I'm guessing no one is familiar with though some of the people may be familiar. Happy to pitch in however I can though I'm not much of a gardener or a hunter - I do speak every language on the timeline though, and that includes Gaelic, Scots, British Sign Language, and probably even Orkish. Judging by the position of some constellations (you get a better view of Scorpius here than we did in New York, for example) I'm guessing 'vague British Isles location' for where we are which was why I mentioned Gaelic but who knows if my brain is working right there.

Anyway, nice to meet everyone.

I know different groups have mentioned saving seeds from the banquet and we acquired some food yesterday that we can do the same. I have some abilities with assisting seeds to sprout and helping keep plants healthy, and an...easy way to till the earth. I wasn't sure who to contact or where to go to see where the gardening work was happening?

That feels far more useful than exploring the trap stairs. I would like the chance to do something productive today.

The letter certainly leaves a lot to be desired.

I would very much like to encourage all of our residents to come by the Infirmary for physical examinations. If you are comfortable with it, of course. Especially those who have any concerns, having been brought here from your own worlds.

Records would, of course, be kept strictly confidential. It would be good to have a baseline, just in case of illness or injury--to help our medical team best meet your healthcare needs.

In case we haven't met, I'm Hayley. I met Nick at the feast and have spoken with Clayton. I was thinking that we should all meet up. Unless I'm mistaken, our kind works better as a group. I'm not talking about forming a Pack. Not everybody might be interested in that. I'm just suggesting that we talk about working together.

Did anyone notice a set of steps in the center of the island before? They don’t appear to lead anywhere. But I don’t remember seeing them on earlier sweeps of the terrain.

You think I'd be used to insanity by now, considering the last couple of years, but here I am; completely flabbergasted by recent events.

Hi. I'm Sharon. I'm new around here--just arrived yesterday. Came through Madripoor, New York, then San Francisco. Mobius is here with me. We picked out a house no one else seemed to be using and crashed there last night.

Is there a system by which houses are distributed to this island's new inhabitants? Who's in charge around here?
