I'm not sure what to think about our somewhat benevolent captors sending home so many people after giving us a nice, easy day with plenty of food yesterday.

Can those of you who are still here please check in? I'm trying to keep a list of who is around and it's hard to keep up.

Caspian and I have made our way back to Stroma.

Has anyone else who teleports noticed we can't go directly to where we want?

This is particularly relevant to those still on the island who can read this and also teleport or create portals in another way - Alyssa and I talked to one of the merpeople, Toriel, and she indicated that word's spread down in her neck of the sea that us land-dwellers have been seen in Iceland, Hawaii, and New Zealand. Which sounds like a series of amazing vacation destinations but given what we know about the state of the world, it probably isn't.

I'm going to open portals to try to reach those in our community who are missing. If we have a couple of us on it, we should be able to get people back in a relatively decent timeframe. Anyone else in?

The phones belonging to the missing individuals are still here, which I believe means that they have not been 'sent home' as they say. I hope that means they will return.

The shore is covered with containers which appear to have washed up overnight.

ETA: One container is filled with silverware, plates, bowls, etc. Another is full of fabric and sewing supplies.

Buffy was kind enough to get me a set of clothes- but I'm gonna need an extra pair, just in case. I hate to ask, but is anybody willing to lend me some...?

I would like to never deal with anything like that again.

Now that the devil dogs Hounds of Tinadalos have been dealt with, I'd like to get back to working on building an ice house, if my volunteer helpers are still up for it. I know we have a brand new freezer in the kitchen, but...I don't think we should depend on the Powers That Be any more than we must.

I suspect that if we slack off and start taking the feasts or the gifts for granted, they'll stop coming.

A bag of supplies was left with my name this morning. It appears to be items for hygiene and grooming. Does this sort of thing happen often here?

Name's John Sheppard. Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force. Got a lot of experience exploring uncharted territory and fighting the unexpected. Is there some kind of organized security force? Seems like setting up a structured watch schedule might be a good idea in case something else happens.

I've been trying to use the shadows to send the hounds to where I am to take them out, but as more arrive it's becoming a bit more difficult to keep up.
