It's the fourth Sunday of Lent, which means it's Mother's Day. At least, it is in the UK.

It's odd, that even though I have lived in the States for years, I was always able to order Mum flowers, or call her to wish her Happy Mother's Day. But, here, I can't even do that.

Whatever it is that BNU did, they have a large amount of captives. Or at least 28 people all being kept in a small area of the compound on Rhea. Which makes them more likely to be hostages or prisoners of some description.

We obviously were not quite equipped to break them out. So, I'll leave that up to Rose and Aranea to organise.

If you pay any attention at all to the news, you know there's some shit going down. I'm not going to lock down the compound yet, but I'm asking that you all be fucking careful. Don't go out along, pay very close attention to your surroundings at all times. Self defense lessons wouldn't go amiss for those of you who aren't badasses already, whether you get someone you feel comfortable with to teach you or you ask me or Shepard or Diego to teach you some moves.

Use the buddy system no matter what, guys. No one is completely invincible. If you're planning to venture out alone – fucking don't. Ask security for an escort if you don't want to take a friend.

I'm doubling patrols, effective immediately. You should have your new schedules in the next five minutes.

You guys were still pretty new when I got sent home. You settling in okay? Or I guess I should say settled. It sounds like it's been awhile.

Well, that was an experience. I didn't remember being here while I was back home and the sudden rush of memories wasn't exactly pleasant, but I'm glad to be back. I'm extra glad to have gotten back just in time for one of Margo and Eliot's parties. It was awesome as always, you guys.

I noticed some new faces at the party, so for those of you who don't know me – hi, I'm Daisy Johnson. If you need anything tech-wise, I'm probably your girl.

ETA: Looks like one of my roommates is gone already. Roy Harper? I only met him for a hot minute yesterday, but his stuff was all gone this morning.

Think we've got all our holes patched at the Compound, but I'd hate to speak too soon. Any suggestions while it's still relatively quiet. I'm all for booby traps, but one of the kids might trigger one by accident, knowing them.
