I've determined that Earth of this century is not what I anticipated.

Tomorrow is apparently National Greasy Food Day, with Martian's Merit doing a special on Fried Foods. I hope it includes deep-fried chocolate bars. Because it has been far too long since I last had a deep fried curly wurly.

Rumor has it there's going to be a vintage movie show in Central Park tomorrow night. I'm not sure what they're going to be playing, but I'm still looking forward to it.

So, I won the "Choice of New Drink at the Lounge" prize in the raffle at the dance party. And, I've been wracking my brain for weeks. Which considering my drink repertoire normally consists of whisky and whatever weird concoction Keeser of Jim decide I have to drink that night, I'm stumped.

So, is there a drink anyone else would like to see in the Lounge?

If you haven't already been by medical for one, this is tour reminder to stop by and get your flu shot this month. Yes, that's still a thing in this time. No, getting the flu in 2371 doesn't suck any less. I know no one likes shots or doctors, but trust me - a quick poke is a lot better than full blown influenza.

It's always strange getting used to not being on a ship. It's hard to sleep without the thrum of an engine below me.

I am not convinced I'm using this right or that anyone will actually see this, but hello. I met a few people briefly the other night, but it's honestly a bit of a blur. I gather others seeing this were brought here by the same witchcraft as I was and that I am not experiencing some sort of fever dream.
