Okay, so this might just be me being completely irrational and neurotic, but I hope we have enough free beads for the Mardi Gras celebration this Tuesday.


Yeah, I know that sounded complete neurotic, but hello it's me and when it comes to planning or helping to plan I'm a complete control freak.


We all know this or most of us or if you didn't, you do now so there you go.

So, any of these 'New Orleans specials' include whiskey? I think it's a pretty legitimate question.

Though most probably don't see it as something worth observing, I do think there is something to be said about following Lent in a way. I suppose I think it shows character, maybe strength to be able to give up something you love or like very much for forty days.


Or perhaps, I am simply old-fashioned.
