Melinda had been home in Edinburgh, visiting her mother on a rare day off, while all the commotion had been going on yesterday. It was only when her father came home from work unexpectedly that she learned about the supposed living inferi swarming the streets of wizarding London and Hogsmeade. Though she wanted to help in some way, wanted to know if the shops were safe, Melinda knew it would be foolhardy at best and dangerous at worst to go and check on them herself.

( After a fitful night of sleep and no word from the clerk who had been filling in for Mr. Leon while he was on holiday, Melinda decided she needed to see for herself, needed to know if their Hogsmeade shop was all right at least. )

Summary: Chance run-in that will probably result in arguing and disgruntled ex-DA friendlies.

( Anthony was one of the quiet ones, she remembered back from their days at Hogwarts, though he always ran with Michael Corner who was a loud mouthed, foul creature and Terry Boot who was hard to remember much either way. )

Summary: Hermione runs into Lavender, it may or may not be awkward, they will eventually start discussing George's ides about a patronus message system.

WEATHER IN LONDON: Showers/Wind; High 52°F/11°C, Low 41°F/5°C WEATHER IN HOGSMEADE: Showers; High 41°F/5°C, Low 36°F/2°C MOON: Three-Quarter Moon, Waning No nightmares this night, but who needs them when reality is already horrible enough? The outbreak of living Inferi is mostly contained, but there are still rogues shambling about. Anyone could still find themselves facing unpleasant company if they're not careful. Then there's the aftermath. Psychological, physical, and property damage are widespread, leaving everyone to pick up the pieces after a terrifying day. Of course, not everyone survived the ordeal.
