What: Finding something IMPORTANT in a terrible mess.
Where: Percy's flat
When: November 20, early morning

Percy awoke to a great crash that morning. He sprung up out of bed and rushed to the main room in time to see Hermes, swooping down to try and tackled Obsidian from where he crouched upon the remains of the perch Percy had bought the day before.
"Obsidian, enough!" he growled at the cat. "Hermes, down!"
The cat, looking contrite, backed off the metal pieces and sat in the entryway to the kitchen, sitting down and licking his paw. The owl found himself a perch atop one of Percy's bookshelves, looking down at the cat with a superior and condescending air.
Percy sighed and walked over to the mess to see if the perch was salvageable. As he moved one of the pieces, he spotted something that shouldn't be there - an old, threadbare book. He pulled it out and opened it, never one to resist curiosity when it came to old books. What he found, however, was nothing close to what he'd imagined.
It was a journal, and from the entries, it had once belonged to Gellert Grindelwald. At first he questioned it, but upon remembering who the perch had belonged to - Albus Dumbledore - it made him think it was genuine.
Almost of its own accord, the journal opened to the last few entries, which Percy read in ernest.
"Fucking hell," he whispered to himself, amazed at what he was reading. He needed to get this to the Aurors immediately! He sent Hermes off with a quick note to Percy's mum, telling her he would be over later and not to worry, then got dressed and Apparated to work.
He did, however, spare a moment to hope his name would be mentioned when news of the discovery was released.
