New Directions

Soph was hard pressed not to kick the side door of the school that refused to open for her, settling for glaring at the green, unmoving thing before turning around and making for the front entrance instead, pulling her scarf tighter as she went. It wasn't too shocking the place was still semi-locked up, given it was still an hour before classes started, but the fact still meant that the English teacher had to walk halfway around the building just to get inside. And in thirty degree chill with a flu scratching at her throat and brain, that did not make a happy Sophie.
