Wednesday In the Park with Baby [Quinn and Sarah, open, Wednesday afternoon]

It was a beautiful day today. And one reason for that was that Glee club was back on again. And the other reason was that it was lovely and sunny. She dressed Sarah in her cutest little outfit and put sunscreen on her and a hat with a brim on it, then put Sarah in her stroller to walk to the park.

Going anywhere with Sarah took a lot of 'equipment' but Quinn had gotten better at it since she'd been born, and so now they were in the park, and she'd spread a blanket out, letting Sarah have some 'floor time' on the blanket. She'd chosen a shady spot under a tree for her to play and lay down beside her, talking to her while she played. Well, as much as you can talk to a baby, at any rate.

"Hello, precious baby. It's such a nice day today, do you like the sunshine and the tree? The tree and all the leaves...?"

It's only slightly sensical, but how else will she learn to talk if Quinn doesn't talk to her?

Choir room, Quinn/Open to all! Friday

Quinn was taking a little time between classes to catch up on some work--the unexpected labor had really thrown off her schedule and she was still way behind in things.

Sure, she could go home, but Sarah was a distraction, albeit the best, and most lovable distraction ever, so she was taking a little time when she didn't have classes scheduled to catch up.

If people needed to sing, that was all right...she'd just be here in the back, doing her History essay...

Back to School [Quinn/Open]

How do other mothers stand it?

It took all of Quinn's willpower not to call her mother every five minutes to find out how Sarah was. She had to make an effort to concentrate on all her classes and meetings with teachers to make up work--she had a boatload of work to make up and she wasn't entirely sure how she was going to do it all, but she'd have to if she wanted to graduate the year.

She couldn't figure out how other parents did it, parents who had to work... And she was so not certain if she could do it anymore. She'd been so confident that she could do everything she had to do and still be a good mom...but the thought of giving up high school was becoming more attractive the more she had to close her phone after resisting the urge to call her mother.

But she still wanted to go to high school. She still wanted the experience, and her friends, and Glee...

How did they do it?

Quinn sighed and put her phone back in her pocket and got her books out for her next class. She'd have to find out some other time.

Come Visit Quinn and Sarah! [open to all]

Quinn didn't know why she had to be in the hospital. She felt fine. She was tired, of course, but she was happy and even though she was aching all over, it wasn't anything worse than she'd felt after the first few cheerleading practices of the year. And after the visit from Mrs. Puckerman's hairdresser, she even felt pretty, something she hadn't felt in a long time.

About all she could do in the hospital was sleep, and eat, and take care of Sarah. She was sort of glad that she was here when she had to feed the baby, because the lactation consultants were very helpful. Still...she couldn't help feeling that she'd be way more comfortable at home.

She was very happy that Puck had kept his promise not to leave her alone in the hospital. She really didn't know what she'd do without him sometimes, and she hoped she never had to find out.

The Mall, Wednesday night, Quinn/Open to All

Quinn was currently in the baby section of the Macy's, looking to use a gift card her Grammie had sent her. Her mom was in another department. Quinn wasn't asking which one.

She very rarely was alone these days. She couldn't drive any more because her belly had grown to interfere with steering. Her mother was hovering.

Between that, the fact that Finn was still angry with her (not that she blamed him), and the fact that her pregnancy pants were getting tight, Quinn was not in the best of moods. She was tired of being pregnant, tired of being this big, and tired of not being able to move. She couldn't believe she still needed to wait another whole month before the baby came.

Quinn had...never been good at patience. And this was no different. But at least she was alone for a few minutes, and could clear her head. She was currently looking at cozy bedding for the baby's crib. She was starting to get sleepy already.

Early Wednesday morning, Mr. Erikson's American History II class, open

Jack sits at his desk, bored, waiting for students to arrive.

What did most teachers do during this time? Grade papers? Tests? Mr. Erikson didn't give those frequently. Less work for him to grade. He'd rather discuss the information with the students, talk with them about the Great Depression or Vietnam or John Locke's idea of tabula rasa...

Class was more interesting that way.

Releasing a sigh of frustration, he turns around and opens his guitar case, pulling out a black acoustic guitar that shined far brighter than his chipped wooden desk ever would.

He thinks for a moment before playing a personal favorite, one that he often found himself playing when left alone. He closes his eyes before playing this.

Early Monday morning, Emma's office, Emma/Kurt/maybe open?

Emma sits in her office, scrubbing her hands with Purell and biting her lip nervously.

What had happened last week should not have happened. It began as innocent...a friend helping another friend...

And ended with lips meeting lips, hands holding hands, fingers caressing hair, dear Je-

She taps a pencil (that she, of course, sanitized) against her desk and prays for a student. Anyone.

Didn't that Kurt kid mention that he wanted to stop by? Some sort of...problem at home?

Whatever the problem was, she waited for it with open arms. Any sort of distraction from her conscience would be highly appreciated.

[Monday 22nd-Friday 27th, Lunch/After school, Room 514]

The Photography classroom had been decked out for the yearly occasion of taking photos for the Yearbook. It was nothing spectacular for the common eye, but it was fairly exciting to Shawn. All the lights were ready, along with the camera, of course; the camera was connected to laptop that was sitting on a long table, which was connected to a printer in case anyone would've wanted the extra prints. He always found the background fairly dull. In his mind, it would've been more fun to do personalized yearbook photos, like the senior pictures, but that would probably exhaust the school's resources, something Principal Figgins wasn't the happiest about doing. Shawn coped.

As either the lunch bell or the end of day bell would ring, he waited for those first volunteers to rush out to the door to be first in line. It was sad that most of those people just wanted to get it over with, rather than be excited to get their picture taken.

((OOC: Yearbook photos are mandatory for all William McKinley related characters, but threading about it is not. You can have your characters talk about having taken the picture already if you want. This is just for me because I'm bored and so I can thread with pretty much everyone.... except Ken, because I'm not crazy enough to thread with myself.... yet.))

Wednesday, school [open]

Quinn has...not precisely dreaded school today, but not precisely looked forward to it, either. She'd made a complete ass out of herself on Monday. She's come into the other side of the school as usual, hoping she doesn't get...

**SPLASH**

...slushied. It's already dripping down her front. And it's blue. Dammit.
